"rough food and poor service. arranged a dosa, saag aloo and a masala chai. the dosa was too thick and tasteless, worst dosa I ever had. the sauce was tasteless. the saag aloo was a salty goop without taste. the chai was okay, but tasted like a tee or package mixture, nothing special. the service was terrible that we have collected our order and it took 10 minutes to give us the chai. we paid for three chai and only one. the attempt to explain this to the service, the man was like a debate with a brick wall, no quantity sting or clearly speaking would allow him to understand that we paid for three and got one. at the end we gave up. in any case will not return to this place and they will not pay their control."

"I must have went on a good day!!. My wife had always wanted to eat at Shimla Pinks for years but we stayed away because of some of these horrendous reviews we read online. We decided to go last night (6/6/11) to make our own mind up about the place with the intention of writing a honest review afterwards We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and were looked after by her all night. "the food was good. the service was fast. all staff very nice and friendly. only critique I have is the amount of time when various employees asked us how to eat. during our beginnings we were asked three times if everything was in order and then on our main course we were asked by 5 different employees of the food. To be honest, it's great to be asked, but they come. Five times. it's a little angry."

"We love our Indian and usually frequent Jamavar or Tamarind for our fix. We wanted something more authentic so we tried here. Service is so good it made you feel good about yourself to be there. Ambience is very Indian but that makes it cool we thought. The food was fresh and very tasty and wasn’t nearly as expensive as our Mayfair regular gems. We will be back here no doubt."

"many vegetarian and gluten-free options. the menu has some really interesting options as well as the normal favorites, and eating was really delicious and well presented. the service was quick and friendly and the seat was comfortable. it is also so beautiful near the river for a walk afterwards. easy to foot from the most important hotels in the environment. I would recommend it again."

"I have been using this restaurant for Indian takeaways for the past few months and have never had a bad meal. Really friendly staff, reasonably priced and the best Indian food in the area. The only slight downside is the £30 minimum order for delivery. There is just 2 of us and we normally order around £20 so have to collect, which can be a pain if you want a couple of drinks first. Other than that really highly recommended."
