"Attractive decor and smart vibes, and also pretty good service. I was lured by the free Prosecco offered on joining Prezzo, but all in all the food didn’t blow my mind. The menu was very varied and interesting, so I decided the goat’s cheese bruschetta and olives to start. The former was piping hot and tasty but too small. The latter were dry, shrivelled and overall off the mark. My main, the Tuscan sauce with lentil, looked appetising but had no wow factor: those sausages could have come from any ordinary supermarket, but I expected them to be tender and flavoursome. I really feel this is a point for improvement. The house white was also insipid. I would imagine the pizza here is good given the classic Italian pizza oven that is used, but I wanted to try something more off piste here and was unfortunately not particularly taken. Perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day?"
