"it seems wetherspoons has gone as well as pizza hat, everything has to be done on a device. both places I will not return to personally. I am not old (34 years old) or not able to use technology, but my idea to go...out with family is to chat with each other and a kn wag with the staff and it is a social event. in a world that is less and less social, this was an unnecessary leap. wetherspoons has deleted this from the experience. they have to order everything on the phone, so the first part of the meal is out, each head is in their phones. we have 5, 6 and 7 years old, so it was a terrible experience for them. it is very sad that the menus are no longer on the table to browse together so that they have a choice of order. we will not return"
