"Bella Italia was included as part of a party package in Brighton for a group of 9 on a hen do! Our table wasn 't ready upon arrival and we had no idea how they were going to squeeze 9 of us into such a small restaurant. We all felt very self conscious and like we were intruding upon the other customers personal time, as it was such an intimate restaurant. Once our table was ready, we were seated at the rear of the restaurant and one of our friends was at the end of the table, which was in the way of the waiters 'service ' area (drinks, till etc . The food choices on the 'party ' menu were very limited (choice of 2 starters and 4 mains and the restaurant weren 't aware that one of our party required gluten free options. However, a gluten free menu was promptly supplied and the waiter was very efficient helpful throughout our visit. I don 't think the food was that good, is very basic (even looking a other customers choices! and quite bland. I have been to far superior Italian restaurants this is maybe somewhere I would go for a light lunch and not an evening meal. That said, on this occasion the food was adequate for our needs; we weren 't there for a special meal."

"Ordered food at 17:45. At 21:25 I am still waiting. They were late with the delivery and then on opening the food they delivered the wrong food. They assured me they'd send the wrong food and in the following hour and a half they said it was out for delivery twice. They are only 5 minutes drive from my house. 5 phonecalls and well over 3.5 hours later, nothing!! I used to love this place but I won't ever order from here again. I could hardly expect to try their fish chips. my friend went around 6.15 o'clock Friday 17/12/21 ordered a small fish dinner a single special fish we ate in their car. but they got the order wrong put chips with my special fish. the brothcrumbs were exactly right as they were not poured like ruff, but were just a bit too thin that the fish broke up when I tried to lift it, but it tasted ok. the teig on the fish of my friend was nice crisp but I had to leave a few of the chips, most of them were a bit too soft as u could see that it was a few bad. a much better fish sauce can be had in moscardies manor st falkirk is very favorable to sit for one. try it. I find her best in the FALKIRK area."

"During our visit to Cheltenham, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant by chance. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive to all our needs. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained. My husband ordered an Afghan chicken dish from the special menu placed on our table and he loved it. I opted for the Bombay Aloo and was not disappointed. The meal came with fluffy pilau rice and a delicious garlic naan bread. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant. Well done!"

"Do not order food from this establishment. 7.56PM: I ordered food using Dunfermline Eats 9.30PM (1 Hour 30 min later): I called for an update and was advised that food was on its way. 10PM (2 hours later): I phoned for an update and was told the driver delivered it. They asked the driver who described a property with a fence. I explained it was not my property. I was told a new order would be made up and delivered. 10.20PM (2.5 hours later): A delivery driver shows up at my door with no food. He asked me Did a driver deliver here earlier? I explained the situation. He gave some explanation that sometimes there 's miscommunication between drivers. He awkwardly stood at the door saying I don 't know what to do now. Utterly confused what was actually happening, I phoned the restaurant again. At this point the driver had returned claiming that I was the person who accepted the delivery earlier in the night. I could not believe the audacity of the delivery driver to first lie to me at the door that he was not the driver who delivered to the wrong door but to then return to the shop, stating he had delivered to the property. Eventually, I asked for a full refund after effectively being called a liar by the driver. The Brig would NOT refund me but insisted on delivering a new order with a different driver. 10.55PM (THREE HOURS LATER): My order finally arrived. My thoughts on what happened; the driver could not admit that he had delivered to the wrong property because when he appeared at my door he had clearly been driven down with someone else from the establishment which is why he had to awkwardly knock on my door and have a false conversation with me. Interestingly, the food order was never set to On its way like it always does until the second order was despatched. Is it possible that the food order was never actually given to the driver and the mistake rests with the Brig itself? Either way someone working there is being knowingly untruthful. Summary: I received food THREE HOURS after I ordered it (too late to eat and enjoy any food). I was called a liar by the delivery driver used by this Brig takeaway. I will never order from the Brig again nor will I use Dunfermline Eats as customers have less protection. I will be sharing my experience through word of mouth and advising others of my experience and not to avoid this establishment. Shameful."

"Me and my flatmates ordered a takeaway from here at 6:10pm, given an ETA of 7:25pm, which we thought was a long time anyway. The order had still not arrived by 8:15pm so we contacted the restaurant and had a cold response telling us that there were no delivery drivers so we needed to wait. The restaurant did not contact us prior to us phoning them and were extremely rude, also telling us the food had been waiting for the driver for half an hour!! We then persisted to ask if the food would be cold when it arrived having it sat out waiting for that amount of time. The just eat order status said it had been delivered at 7:50pm, which was a blatant lie, so just eat could not help us either. After almost 3 hours the food had still not arrived, it wasn’t a large or complicated order either. Once the food actually arrived after almost 3 hours.... It was all cling filmed up, in a clear attempt to keep it warm. Which failed. The food was cold, over cooked and one of my flat mates almost broke a tooth trying to bite into a piece of their chilli beef that had been cooked to death. The chips were half full and the prawn toast indestructible. Overall, the food was appalling, very very disappointed. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Rude staff, cold food and extremely poor service."

"We ordered 6 different dishes chosen by this establishment, and I'm sorry to say that utterly appalling was our conclusion. All three of us agreed that it was all practically inedible and disgusting. I was attracted initially by the fact that Nepali dishes were served here including mojo. The momo were inedible along with almost everything else we ordered including the nan bread which was so dried out, it was like cardboard. Obviously not made on site. We are amazed this place has been in business for any length of time. The on Y acceptable food we received out of nearly £40 of different dishes was the pilau rice. Very sad to report this, we has higher expectations. Avoid this place if you like good quality food."

"kismet tandoori, which I should explain to the inappropriate, is an adventurer, no restaurant, is my go-to Indian takeaway in cambridge for many, many years (at least and in all the time I can only remember that disappointed meals. One...was where I had asked for extra seasoning in a biryani, and it had not been added (a disorder in the communication between the receiving cook), and once when a dhansak was under par (usual cook on holiday all the other paints my extra spicy biriyanis and my dhansaks (my two favorites) were absolutely delicious. I have lived in a couple of different parts of cambridge, but apart from a short time after the disappointing dhansak when I visited another facility that subsequently closed, I always go out of mine to give kismet my use. I can't comment on re-delivery as I always collect personally. I like that they better recycle their food in foil containers the portion size is generous and eating is always a good temperature."

"The menu is excellent, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. We had someone in our group with a gluten intolerance, but that was no issue at all. I mentioned to the waiter that it was a birthday celebration, and they surprised us with a birthday dessert, complete with a candle and a lovely note! The food was delicious, and I would definitely come back again."
