"I ordered the meal deal for two people from Manor Plaice. The food was delivered on time and the staff were friendly when I placed my order. The fish was perfectly cooked and the battered mushrooms were also delicious. Everything was piping hot as well. The portion sizes were generous and I cannot fault anything. Well done Manor Plaice!"

Unfortunately Opentable confused things as they showed the restaurant was full but sadly this was incorrect and I worry that they are missing out on bookings because of this. "I have been waiting for a Turkish restaurant to come to the high street, however I was quite disappointed with our visit. It was Sunday not very busy in the restaurant and at 5pm and on arrival I was greeted by a waitress who looked on her clipboard only to find my name wasn't on there? So not a good start! We were seated in the corner by the window and the service was prompt and the starters came out which were fine. It all went a bit downhill from there on in. One of our mains came out wrong and we were told there would be a 10 min wait for the correct meal to be cooked which meant my family were all finished when my wife finally received hers. Quality of the kebabs was very sub standard, we found bone and they smelt of offal, tough and very bland. Size of portion was very small and I feel the portions are not changed from the mon- wed half price offer.. Service was very un personal, not very tentative as I believe they knew something was wrong as my wife had not eaten anything apart from some rice! Finally when a waitress came over i explained that my wife was not happy with her meal and that i wouldn't be paying for that meal as it was sub standard. Finally, when the bill came it still had the meal on the bill. I asked for the manager who came over and wasn't really interested in my feedback, he scribbled out the meal and we payed and left. We would of spent £107 for 4 people which I don't mind paying if the service was good. Come on guys customer service and quality is key if you are to survive.."

"I have ordered two meals tonight through JustEat and waited for 2 hours for the meal to arrive. The meal did not arrive so I have called Haks only to be greeted with a rude man on the phone stating the food had been delivered....I was confused by this as I've been home all night with the lockdown on effect and had not heard so much as a knock on the door let along the food being delivered. He said there was nothing he could do and that I would need to speak to the delivery driver. He refused to provide any details for the driver however and hung up on me. He seemed uninterested by the issue. I find this extremely rude and unprofessional and have now requested a refund through JustEat. I will not be ordering from here again in future sadly."

"We came for the first time on a mood a few weeks ago, based on Google reviews, and I'm so glad we did! As soon as we arrived on a dry rainy day, we were greeted with a very warm welcome and sitting in a stand. The menu was quite big and we didn't really know where to start! But in the end we ordered a mezze platter, some crispy potatoes, halloumi and the fat lamb (can lamb be fatat? Something along these lines! We were not disappointed at all. It was all absolutely delicious, and beautifully presented too! The lamb was particularly incredible. The staff was really friendly and friendly, could not ask for more. We will definitely be happy again!"

"I can say this is the best Syrian/Middle Eastern restaurant in the UK! It has great location in downtown Slough. The restaurant is so tidy and clean atmosphere is very unique with Syrian antiques everywhere lovely levant decorations There are seatings both downstairs upstairs as well The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had mix grilled meat platter with meze salad/ tabouleh. The food was exceptional , tasty fresh. The prices on other hand are very reasonable. I’ll say cheaper than other places and definitely better quality. I also tried their other dishes shawarma/kebab wraps which is so good ! I Highly recommend this place for both individuals and families. I wana to go there again again."

"My friends and I ate here on a Saturday night, we booked our table for 8pm. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who went through the menu with us pointing out the deal they were doing. She then proceeded to tells us about the 2 for 1 drinks offer before 10pm. Which we took full advantage of, especially the cocktails. The food was good, clean and prompt perfect food before a night out. We stayed there after our meal as the DJ started playing some good music and the party people turned up. If you're a group of friends I would recommend CTZN for food and a night out."
