"I'm still from the price day, especially because of ugly wine prices and gratuitous splashes from Caviar. At these prices, perfection and dimming, despite the silly caviar bits, were spectacular. Especially the scalops that were spotlessly fresh. But the disappointment sat down with the crispy duck salad. It had only a little crispy skin, but a generous amount over boiled, dry duck meat. The rest of the salad tasted nice and, if the meat had been removed, I would have declared it a refreshing and interesting salad. The next 2 courses were simply footsteps of traditional Chinatown favorites from the 1970s a pepper steak and crispy roasted shrimp that had a touch of marshmallow taste. These were very nice and loyal to the old ways of the Cantonese restaurants, but not worth the stratospheric price tags. The only dish, besides the dimming sum that raised to the occasion, was the grilled sea bass, which was beautifully red on the outside and boiled right on the inside. The roasted duck, last served, was just too much after all the rich foods so we took it home. Beautiful desserts especially the Rhabarb pudding with a faux caviar crisp topping. Bottom line: Order You have the cheapest menu on £80 pp and the dinner is still too expensive, but at least not ridiculous."
