"Dragged here by my hip girlfriend because it looked nice. And credit where it is due, it does look nice. The atmosphere of the cafe is trendy (as in follows a trend) of neon, rustic, and expensive. Added to this is the dressed-down uniform of the staff. Hard to tell who works there and who is visiting to take pictures of the dogs cafes like this seem to magnetise. The pancakes we had were very different. No where else does pancakes like that. For me, the pancakes were a little too dry, like the grains were not milled down enough before entering their fried egg and milk status. But it is /different/. And if that 's a quality that Michellin looks for, then this place is hitting it. Not five stars because of the prices. I get it, to be different is not cheap. I also understand that with such high demand, the prices have to ride. But whilst the demographic who use maximum vocal fry to not get why their boyfriend thought it was acceptable to talk to another girl like thaaat might be okay to spend £10 on a pached egg on toast, I 'm not."
