"Overall very good indeed. Staff great: the attentive service managed to combine pleasant, friendly with professional efficiency. The venue is comfortable and airy with interesting décor, the facilities all well-appointed and sparkling clean. Good food demonstrating an attentive attitude to choice and tempting combinations. Portion control is obvious without being sparse just . The green vegetables were quite simply perfect, demonstrating high kitchen skills. Jolly good triple-cooked-chips. My main, a beef cheek Cottage Pie £3 supplement for some reason! was pleasant but really needed a gravy or sauce. We shall return."

"what a wonderful place! mine man and I came to the breakfast while on the slumber week, and it was possibly the most beautiful breakfast I ever had! we both had the vegetarian breakfast, and I had a caramel latte while he had a smoothie. the prices seemed high at first, I think we paid about £23 for our eating and drinks, but it was worth every single penny. the ingredients were fresh and skurril, my latte was made with good quality buzzing and the smoothness of my man was to die. the atmosphere was also very cozy and welcoming on a cold novemberday the other customers were very friendly and the staff was great. If I could give six stars, I would!"

"first we had expected table service, but had to go into the bar to order. that was not a big thing, but we were surprised to be asked to pay for eating in advance. eating was exceptionally bad, chips had sugar on them and tasted as if they had been cooked several times in the old oil. I returned this and received a refund for them. the waitress apologised that the chips were served with sugar instead of salt. the hard carved ham and senfsandwich was not hand carved, but bad quality super market before packaged disc ham. the sandwich floated in sniff and I ate very little. my friends had the cheese sandwich and sweet potato didn't fry. my other friend had the hühnerburger that she said was warm and very little ate. we ordered two glasses of rose wine, which was warm and both remained glasses. very disappointing and sufficient to not return. we were in the laura ashley teeroom that offers a great service and good food. please take this feedback on a positive sign, as it is a scandal to lose customers who liked to return because the location is good and building beautiful."

"I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. My party and I were excited to dine here for dinner. We arrived on time with a reservation, but the waitress seemed surprised. We ordered dessert and water but waited 30 minutes without any update. It took 35 minutes just to get our water. When we asked about our dessert, the waitress said it would be another 10 minutes. After waiting for so long despite having a reservation, we decided to cancel our order. The waitress did not offer to speed things up or apologize. We found dessert elsewhere that was faster and cheaper. Overall, this experience was a disappointing waste of time."

"Staying at the Arch, so picked Hunter 486 for convenience and the menu looked good. Ambience low key, as only one couple dining when we arrived, but there were six of us so we made our own atmosphere. It did get a bit busier later on, but not as buzzy as one would normally like. Service was good though and the menu was varied and well executed."

"A group of three of us meet here once a month or so and we always have a wonderful time, a delicious meal whilst being looked after by the fabulous Greene Oak team. The restaurant has a great atmosphere full of diners having a lovely time, there is no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon x"

"During my recent visit to Lincoln, I ordered a Cookie Dough milkshake at Eskimoo. I had tried the milkshake a few years ago and remembered it being really good. However, this time I was disappointed to find out that they used a powder instead of real cookie dough for the flavor. Despite the sign claiming they use real ingredients and not syrups, the milkshake did not meet my expectations. At over £5, it was expensive and not worth it. Unfortunately, I won't be making the mistake of ordering it again. Goodbye, Eskimoo."

"Oh dear ... Disappointing food; hopeless service and an absence of punters on a Friday night as word has obviously got out. Shame as the space is great (big curved windows on a corner street with space for a handful of outside tables shielded from the road . Saw this local restaurant during the day one sunday and booked it to take a friend who was coming to stay from out of town on Friday night. Firstly there was a disjunct with menu available (pizza's only and menu online (a la carte ; then the menu was kept very simple, which is ok, but none of their suggested combinations grabbed me and then half the ingredients were unavailabble or alternative to stated anyway (eg. No smoked salmon available for the smoked salmon pizza ... The goats curd was actually just straight goats cheese etc. . The service was delivered very sweetly but very slow, amateur and absent minded despite there being only one other couple of diners present. My pizza was a bit doughy but edible; my friend's wasn't and we left with it uneaten on the plate behind us to head back to the other side of the (Brockley railway tracks ..."

"I am extremely frustrated with this restaurant. I made a reservation for a bottomless lunch two weeks in advance, only to receive a text just a few hours before my reservation saying they could no longer accommodate food bookings for that day because the chef was ill. It's clear they don't have a backup plan for situations like this. I would never book here again, as they are not reliable."

"Our first time at this tea room, so we didn't know what to expect. The tea room is beautifully decorated and very clean. We booked the vegan afternoon tea and were so happy to get a full selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked warm scones with cream and jam and a selection of cakes with lots of tea to wash it all down with. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were happy to bring us Prosecco at request and we asked for tea refills 3 times. The price is reasonable too, considering the location. We will definitely be back. The only suggestion would be, as other reviewers have mentioned, would be to have some background music, as it was very quiet."
