"The food arrived promptly and was delicious. The wrap was packed with flavorful chicken, fresh vegetables, and a tasty sauce. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. "Our reservation was on time and we were seated at a large table in the center of the restaurant. We had mentioned when booking that we were celebrating a tattoo but were not informed that we needed to download an app to place our order. We eventually figured out how to use the app to order drinks and food on our own, but encountered a problem and had to go to the bar to order again. The drinks were decent and served promptly, but the food took over an hour to arrive, with the last burger coming out at the same time as the first one. We had to visit the bar twice to inquire about our order. Overall, we were not satisfied with the experience and do not plan to return. It may be more suitable for smaller groups, as ordering was challenging for our group. Suggest providing clearer instructions on how to use the app and assigning a server dedicated to larger parties in the future to improve the dining experience."

"We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The service and staff were fantastic. The only issue we encountered was that the menu online was different from the one we received at the table. This discrepancy should be addressed, as other customers have also mentioned the same issue. Despite this, we will definitely return as it was a great spot for a pre-theater dinner and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you again."

"Deliveroo again. Flavours are amazing! Vegan chicken, Caesar salad, which I really enjoyed. I chose the carbonara pizza as I saw on another review that it was highly recommended, I can also highly recommend it really amazing flavours and I had additional mushrooms and garlic on mine. Another year passed, I had more deliverys from here. I opted for the blue cheese and roasted pear pizza which was spicy with chilli oil and cold courgetti with pesto and sun dried tomato, both excellent. Next night I had the ceasar salad again (still good), mac and cheese and roasted cheesy potatoes. Everything was excellent. One of my favs! Updated from previous review on 2023-01-11"

"Having never quite been convinced by the menu and decor to ever entertain an evening out at Missoula, it came as a welcome surprise how wonderful the new occupier of the premises is proving to be. The bustling Friday trade did not slow the service...and we received a mouthwatering array of small plates and a sharing platter more than ample for our group of three. I highly recommend the small plates the selection of five provides a lip smacking variety of dishes ranging from cauliflower wings (delightful) to arancini balls and burnt beef ends. Actually also a fan of the sharing platter with chicken wings, chicken strips, onion rings, chips, roast, medley of sauces and sausage. All whilst absorbing gorgeous views over the River Ouse..... a delightful way to spend a Friday evening (or any evening for that matter"

"Recently did a bottomless brunch at bowers tap. I have been to a lot of brunches but this was the best. Drinks and food menu was varied, service was fast but fun (shout out to Ryan who took great care of us), and we had easy access to a big screen for sports. Not only was it the best quality, itwas actually the cheaper of brunches avaliable in leeds. For an added bonus they also had a Halloween themed brunch based in strangers things, which just wow'd me. Champagne brunch at lemonade prices!"

"visited the place at two different locations. the first time was on a Saturday night. great music and ambiente, but what the show stole was their list of cocktails. therefore decided to try some. all were exceptional, I would recommend the 5 stars tee for the rum lovers and show me the monkeys for the whisky dinkers who want to try something else. the Watermelon actor 'full moon party' was decent and thought us more. After we had the wonderful experience, we decided to go back this time with a bigger baptism. everything was the same, but we were disappointed as the bar offers were not trained enough to create the different cocktails on their menu, which was due to the fact that it was a weekday. I would recommend visiting the place at a weekend to have some drinks with friends and enjoy the lively atmosphere."

"I went into this bar for a catch up with some old friends. We sat having a nice catch up when the doormen arrived. They then asked us for proof of vaccination, I provided proof in the form of my vaccination card from the nhs,...apparently this was not valid?? Turns out that one of the doormen “Jamie” has a problem with my pals. Completely unacceptable that they behave this way and absolutely incompetent. I will never go in there again. Only reason for a higher rating was that the bar staff and all the kitchen staff to be honest were lovely, however avoid evenings because the door staff are horrific."

"My boyfriend and I had a 7pm booking at Missoula Montana for Valentine’s Day, turned up a little early to have a drink beforehand and we were seated already by 6:30pm. The service was absolutely excellent especially from Lilith. She was very polite and always made sure everything was okay for us. The food was absolutely delicious; service was super quick. Overall would definitely recommend this place to anyone becoming one of my favourite bars in York!"

"Booked here for last Sunday for a catch up with a friend. We had the bottomless brunch. It was amazing! The service was brilliant and they couldn’t do enough for us. "Downloaded the app. Nothing worked. Ordered at the bar, paid £2.25 extra for beef on my burrito bowl. When it came out, there was literally 5g of beef and sauce added to the smallest burrito bowl I have ever seen. The bowl itself was fine. But if I had paid just £10 for the bowl itself, as standard, I would have been furious. But then having paid £2.25 for an extra 5g of beef. After asking for an opinion from the staff (who were extremely helpful), it sounded like they either agreed and didn’t want to comment, or didn’t really know what a standard protein portion on a standard meal should be. Ground beef is cheap. Slow cooked ground beef is low maintenance, cheap easy to prepare. My concerns about the portion sizes were confirmed when I was brought out a 2nd portion of the beef… which appeared to be no more than 10g of beef (if you were being generous), and a lot of sauce. For context. At home, you could make 500g of the same thing for around £5.00… and as a business, buying at wholesale, bulk prices, you can make it a lot cheaper. So even if you were serving a standard portion of protein 20 30g for an adult you’d still make money, if you were buying wagyu ground beef from waitrose. If you are looking for decent food… give this one a miss. The service and drinks are all standard for a chain pub, its just the food that is a scam. Staff were 10/10 though, and brought me out a 2nd portion, with no drama. But even 2 portions of that beef wasn’t really enough protein for an adult. And there was far too much sauce to cover the fact that there was hardly any beef"
