"I arrived for a 1 o’clock lunch, only to be told by an indifferent waitress that we would have to wait 30 minutes due to a Christmas party. The restaurant is in need of refurbishment, and to be honest, we were not sad to leave and spend our money elsewhere. I own a property in the village, and the last time I visited, about two years ago, the pub was welcoming and the food was good. However, I don't plan on returning anytime soon!"
