"The steak and steak tartare were delicious and we received excellent wine recommendations. I was really impressed with the service and the ambience was romantic and upscale but also cozy. We are a little on the younger side (29 and 30) and were dressed down compared to most other patrons, but the staff still treated us with the utmost respect (I was a little worried about this after our experience at Il Convivio Troiani in Rome because we were treated so poorly even though we were spending quite a bit more than the average patron according to the Fork estimate). We ordered a pasta with octopus that was a little fishy but the waiters immediately recognized that we did not like it and took care of it. We ordered the tuna tartare as well and it was good but the steak tartare is much better. I would opt for the steak tartare over the tuna tartare next time instead of ordering both. I really loved my experience at l'Orangerie poolside bar restaura and would definitely go back."
