"We visited the restaurant on Father's Day and found it to be very busy, as expected. However, the staff were working hard to maintain good service. We were seated at our table and given menus. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we went to the bar to order drinks. While waiting, we noticed another customer ordering food at the bar, so we decided to place our order there as well, realizing that this was the process for ordering at this restaurant. About an hour into our visit, I went back to the bar to inquire about our food, as we still had not received it. I suggested that a complimentary drink would be appropriate given the long wait, but the staff member said that since we had only been waiting for 40 minutes (since we figured out how to order food), a free drink would not be offered. I mentioned that this information had not been communicated to us. When the food finally arrived, it was delicious and we all enjoyed our meal. Despite the lack of communication and wait time, the hard-working and friendly staff were a standout feature of our experience."
