"I really wanted to like this, we were bought the tasting menu as a gift, and waited for a special occasion to use it. Unfortunately this was sub standard. I would not recommend for the price. Good points interesting use of seafood, never had a sea bream chaat before, and in all fairness this dish was the best we had. wine pairings were successful flexing between both white and red wines from Europe staff were attentive, although a bit quick to turnover courses door staff were lovely presentation of all the food was better than the taste Negatives decor overall felt dated and old fashioned food was largely bland over spiced and not enough flavour. Actually left my main meal of sole kebab as was rubbery overall atmosphere felt stuffy and not at all worthy of a special occasion price did not justify vs other tasting menus. "The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"We booked a children’s party here for ten kids through groupon. Booking wasn’t very straightforward as the member of staff didn’t know what we were talking about. We never received any confirmation of booking either. Once we got there we were shown the tables available...for us and the two bowling lanes. We were the only customers in the place so having ten kids for a party should of been easy. First off the constant nagging from the female member of staff put a real damper on the day. Kids are noisy,they run around bearing in mind it’s a kids party. This member of staff was at my side every five minutes complaining about one thing or another. The bowling alley wasn’t great,at one stage the ball actually rolled back up the alley. The food is unlimited on the groupon with pasta, chips and pizza available. The kids were hungry and ate well but we didn’t need anymore food. There were a few left over slices of pizza which I offered to the adults. The female member of staff actually took the pizza out of my mums hand saying it was for the kids,took it away and binned it. When she came to complain to me again I actually told her to leave me alone and requested the manager. There were a few complaints from us about the way the staff behaved and when I discussed this with the manager he just blamed the staff. When I explained that I’m an avid trip adviser reviewer he tried to bribe me with a free game if I gave a good review. It’s a great deal on the face of it but it was a total nightmare. I even opened a tab and spent on top of the party cost as I know the business doesn’t make a profit from groupon,this included food for the adults. The male member of staff behind the bar was fantastic."

"I am a crazy, crazy curry lover and have made some quite remarkable and extensive research in this area over many, many years. don't they believe me? look at my photos! Anyway, that was just the most tasty curry I've ever had. I do not say that it is the best, because this is like the comparison of lovers and I will not plan on facebook anytime soon! I'm spoiled for what's available where I live, but this place was another level seriously. the lame just hacks incredible. the dry meat lush and delicious. even the simple Pulao rice was read. I can't wait to go back. as someone can't give this place are 5 stars beyond me."

"Went here towards the end of July on a date with my girlfriend. She had never tried Indo/Chinese food before, and I am huge fan so I was excited to bring her somewhere where it seemed to look great online. It did not disappoint, I was a bit apprehensive reading the reviews before I went as there were so many bad, but I am so happy this didn't put me off, if you're looking for more traditional Indian food, this isn't the restaurant for you (although they do have a few options. The only reason this didn't get a full five stars, because although the strawberry mojito was perfect in taste, the mint used for garnish was dying and it didn't look very nice. The garnish should always be fresh. However, I will reinstate the cocktail was delicious! We definitely over ordered, however we were able to take the rest that we didn't finish home so win win! Things that we ordered : Manchow Soup with chicken (this was my girlfriends favourite, its sooo tasty! Salt and Pepper Okra, Kuna Pao Potato (this is my personal favourite!! Kung Pao Chicken, Tai Pai Prawn, Veg Hakka Noodles, Vegetable Rice. I really wanted to ordered Chicken Lollipops as I have had these before and I love them, however I couldn't finish what we had already order let alone ordering more. I really enjoyed the food, even if I did finish a bottle of water because of the spice, spicy but an enjoyable spice. I will 100% be back again, as this has fully lived up to my expectations and I am excited to have more friends try the food. They got busier towards the end with big tables, and lots of telephone orders."

"This restaurant offered an authentic experience of sub-continental cuisine. The venture is very enterprising located in NESCOT. Everything is new and very clean. There is a good choice of dishes although on our visit the two dishes my son asked for were not available. I had a sizzling tikka dish of chicken lamb chop and fish which was very good accompanied with an exceptional vegetable curry with nine different vegetables.My son enjoyed his chicken tikka masala . Naan bread and a chapati were of a high standard. The service was a bit slow but it is a training ground for youngsters making their way in the catering industry."

"There was an incident where a group of people were slightly intoxicated. Security were called to escort them out. This was unpleasant to experience as we was out celebrating (birthday). The staff were very apologetic and no fault from their end however it was concerning that these group of guests were allowed in all at once, there were at least 11 of them, some using the bar space and the others spilt across 3 tables. They were loud and inconsiderate towards the other guests. I was hoping for a better ambiance. The staff still made us feel special by singing happy birthday and just being very nice but that incident did ruin our night. The food was lovely though."

"It was a pleasure to eat here a year ago. good place to try out an authentic Indian menu that I think serves a lot of street fruit and informal kind of Indian meal. in my opinion, it is not the right place for a sitting, formal occasion. the taste is not necessarily what they would expect if they only tried British Indian food. "Surprised to find this restaurant merged with Red Dog Saloon, which I think deflated the experience a lot. It was hard to distinguish both restaurants apart. Service was extremely slow, the first waitress to seat us was very attentive, the other not so much barely spoke to us even though we were the second table in. We ordered katti rolls; lamb meat, fries, salads sauces were spot on, very flavoursome but the wrap itself was completely inedible, so we only ate the contents of the roll. It was extremely tough very oily, more of a puri than a roll wrong choice of bread in my opinion!Chicken wings were just completely soaked in oil again, after eating we had to stop as it was unpleasant. Also, the strange mixtureflavour of butter got quite sickly after a couple. Again, not sure of this creation.. The mommo’s were lacking taste in general. The pau bhaji was pleasant but lacked salt generally a punch of flavour. Served with ONE brioche bun about kilos of the actual veg mix? Not very traditional or practical. Again, wrong choice of bread in my opinion. I think the masala fries were the highlight of our lunch, which doesn’t really count for much to be honest, as it’s supposed to be an Indian bbq restaurant. Given that the restaurant was completely empty for at least minutes from when my group of sat down, I expected a lot better quality from the food. Won’t be willingly dining here again in the future"

"I rated the service 2 stars because the waitress dropped off our food without telling us what it was. When we tried to get her attention to ask, she didn't even look at us as she walked away. We had to guess who should eat what, and when we asked another waitress for clarification, she informed us that it wasn’t safe to eat. We understand it was a busy night, but when I requested more sauce, I assumed it would be brought out with my meal. I asked two other waitstaff, and it never arrived. One person in our party ordered two mosquito tails, but they never came. When he inquired with another waitress, she said they were out and offered him a Coke instead. It feels like if we hadn’t asked someone else, he might have been charged for a dish he never received, or at the very least, we wouldn’t have been informed that it was unavailable. Despite the service issues, the food itself was quite enjoyable."
