"the website allowed me to book lunch for us at covid, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed, but the manager and the staff were absolutely brilliant to welcome us. they brought us into the gin bar, which is not on open...to hours later, served us drinks and the cook put together large plates of canapés, hearty and sweet for us to crumb. I can honestly say that our social distancing together was made so special that all involved in the hotel. a huge thank you to all employees of the layer yesterday by sharon, linzi linda x"
