"Went for lunch, ordered a la carte. Steaks were done properly and served on mushrooms. Peppercorn sauce was very thin but OK. Nice Chips. The lamb shanks were tender and tasty. Dessert was a little disappointing- the apple and pear tart would be nicer hot. The toffee crunch is small but tasty, so don't share it! Service is good and attentive."

"Very good food both had a burger, meat was perfectly cooked. Nicely presented. Good service, attentive without being intrusive. Early Thursday evening visit and it was packed but it seemed most of the people inside were just having predinner drinks before a function in Lords. Quietened down as they moved on"
