"My two companions and I dined at Standard Tandoori in Reading and we all had a great meal. The service was friendly and attentive, although it did take some time for our food to be served. The dishes were cooked and presented beautifully. I prefer my food to be hot and I was pleased with the level of spiciness. My wife, on the other hand, enjoys her food to be lightly spiced and there were plenty of options for her on the menu. Overall, it was a good dining experience."

"The chairs were old and dirty, and the toilets, while modern, were not well-maintained. The restaurant could benefit from an upgrade. The starters were tasty, but the main courses were overly salty. The chef apologized and prepared a new main course that was much improved. We received a discount on the bill as a gesture of goodwill. The service was friendly."

"It was our first night in Cairo for an 8-day vacation. Similar to most places, the restaurant was empty and we were initially the only ones there. The staff were attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable. The food was incredibly delicious. The restaurant is situated by the pool, offering a beautiful view. Unfortunately, it was quite chilly that night so we were unable to dine outdoors by the pool. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience."
