"We ordered from Emons for the first time tonight and the service has been absolutely disgusting. We placed an order at 6 o’clock and were told it’d be an hour wait, almost 2 hours later we are still waiting. We tried to call many times but weren’t able to get through and when we did finally get through the man on the phone had an awful attitude, no apology and didn’t seem to care at all that we’d been waiting for so long and weren’t able to get through to enquire about where our order was he then claimed the driver had only left 5/10 mins ago for an order placed over an hour and a half ago! Absolutely disgusting. Avoid!!! If I could give it no stars I would."

"I would support everything that previous reviewers have said about this Indian restaurant. However, they must be aware that they add 10% service to their total without it in any way. so it is only if they cancel the bill, they will notice that their total amount should be 10% more than it should be and there is no warning why. no rake 10 service and no carry in the gap. this is dishonest and misleading and probably leads to an ugly 20% tip. I have always added service without recognizing that they contain it a very underhand and hidden art. I asked the waiter who became a little shy and said his boss told them to do it. I like eating, but I'm not going back."

"Utter rubbish. I am writing at my disgust at the food you presented to me the other night The start chicken chat was mostly cucumber and the main meal was watery and have very little meat in it abd the Bhunaa was more like a tomato puree. The bread was half cooked and then you had the cheek to charge me £30.35 I would have complained more if my train was not about to go What is worrying was that there were Amercian tourists in there and they may have thought that is what to expect when to comes to Indian meal I am so dissappointed with your food I felt I had to complain The worst Indian meal I have ever seen."

"We were visiting locally and staying in Cinderford and the Akash was recommended. There was no parking so we parked in the hairdressers next door which was closed. When we got to the front door we almost turned around a blown front window that probably hasn’t been cleaned for 10 years ,plastic flowers in the window that had an inch of dust I could go on and on . But we stuck with it. By the end of the starter we were pleasantly surprised and starting to have a different view. By the end of the meal we all agreed that it was probably the best Indian we’d ever had. And we’ve had a few. The fact that they don’t serve alcohol didn’t distract from that . This would’ve made a great dine in the dark."
