"We had a very relaxing lunch, sitting outside under the pergola, and were there for over three hours. We were able to have a good conversation whilst enjoying some delicious food. The only disappointment was with the spinach which was dried out and looking tired. Otherwise, the food was ok although the steaks were expensive considering their size. The overall ambience makes The Withies a special place to eat."

"My family and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were extremely clean, and the hot tubs were luxurious. The food was delicious and overall, it was a fantastic getaway. I would rate the rooms, service, and location all a 5 out of 5. The highlights of the hotel were its luxury, great view, and excellent value."

"Booking for three evening meal starters were quite nice drinks were ok tou took them a few minutes to sort the procesco main meals my was fine but the fries seemed a bit too frozen style and not being fresh. The roast potatoes with the salmon were hit and miss some were very liquidity and some were right the desert were ok but the chocolate fondant nice inside but dry on the outside the restaurant understanding did some discount which I appreciate"

"We were celebrating a 40th birthday for my son 6 people in total. We ordered whilst having drink outside in the garden. However, when our food arrived there were several issues: 1. I had to remind the staff that my starter came with Fig Chutney it had been forgotten. 2. It was assumed that white toast would be my choice with my pate I should be asked as many people have intolerance to white bread 3. The Prawn Cocktail was very basic 4. Worse of all they forgot one of the £35 Sirloin Steaks!! Surely it's not difficult to know when there are 6 people present that it's likely to be 6 main courses. We were told it was being done but the issue is that it not only needs cooking but it needs to rest too my son who's birthday it was knows that is correct. So instead we would get a quickly prepared steak and at £35 no thanks!! All in all the experience was pretty poor. We won't be rushing back!"

"Organised 30th birthday celebrations. Excellent venue, food staff. Nothing too much trouble. Help and support was amazing. Would thoroughly recommend using this venue again. Bob was exceptional in helping with the organisation and helping us to clear everything at the end of the night. Thank you to all the staff."
