"Having frequented The Orange pub/restaurant on a number of occasions before we were expectant of an enjoyable meal experience. We found that the current menu was too 'avant-garde ', and pricy, for this type of establishment and our 'mains ' choices were very disappointing when compared to previous visits. The service was generally very good and we had a bill discounted by one of our mains choices in view of the disappointing quality. Our meal was a disappointing feature of one of our rare visits to the capital and somewhat marred our New Year 's Eve celebrations."
