"The Fox Club is a regular lunch haunt for me, and it never fails to deliver. The food made by the chef here is much better than meals I have eaten in many other private members clubs. The chef at the Fox is exceptional at cooking fish dishes to perfection. Although, on this occasion I elected to have the beef ragu with risotto to banish all thoughts of the icy sleet, and cold outside. With a ragu that was tender and just melted in the mouth, a risotto cooked just right, I was blissfully happy with my choice. Accompanied by a chilled glass of Picpoul de Pinet, this was just what I needed at the end of a long week. The staff are always friendly and attentive, it really is like the Cheers bar but in a historic and pretty Mayfair townhouse, with a chef who is passionate about delivering lovely plates of food."
