"Had my 65th birthday lunch here . There were 9 of us and I was delighted to find that we were seated in a private dining room upstairs . It was absolutely perfect . The food was very good , well cooked and good value . Everyone had a wonderful time and the staff were very friendly and effective . The restaurant is definitely a step up from say a gastro pub /bistro . But without being in the fussy fine dining end of eating out . I you have a small lunch/dinner party then having one of the private rooms makes for a delightful experience that I can heartily recommend"
