"Found this restaurant by chance. My friend and I were looking for somewhere to have a pre concert dinner before going to the NEC. We were met by Shahir who quite simply epitomises what customer care and attention excellence should be. Nothing was too much trouble. This review is short and concise for a reason. The venue was clean, contemporary warm and welcoming. The order was made. 10 minutes later the food arrived. It was well presented and hot (as in temperature I mention this because I really do not like my food luke warm or cold, as do most people I should think). I have been to many restaurants home and abroad, most of which have been good to excellent. The food at The Delhi can only be described as a tingling treat for the tongue. 10/10 for the chefs. I am a carnivore and my partner is vegan, and they catered for both effortlessly. I will finish by thanking you and wish you the best. Keep to this standard and you will remain successful."

"I've eaten at Bakchich a few times now and popped in with my son for lunch whilst shopping a few days ago. . . It was around 2pm mid week and no problem being seated I'd say they have a pretty extensive menu great choice of dishes! I love the laid back vibe in here and the decor. Great place for lunch. The staff are really pleasant and there's no rush to order. There's so much to choose from it's tough! We both went for the mixed swarma (Lamb&Chicken) cooked in Lebanese spices which is served on a freshly made flatbread with a beautifully fresh salad, rice and fries. We also both got the fresh homemade lemonade. I got the Rosa and my son the Lemon&Lime The food (with condiments) and drinks were served before we knew it. I've got to say that there was enough for two . . . on each plate! Amazingly generous portion sizes. We're big eaters and couldn't finish them. Taste wise it was absolutely delicious! Every forkful was full of flavour and thoroughly enjoyed. I managed to wrap a ton of the swarma plus salad and a few Tzatziki fries in the bread wrap and finish the lot before my drink and there was still loads left on my plate! What I loved about this meal was it was not greasy at all. It was what I would call clean food extremely well seasoned and cooked and plenty of it! Washed down with the zingy fresh and tasty lemonades this was an incredible meal. I will definitely be back!"

"Wow, what a little gem of a place! Visiting Cheltenham for the first time, after exploring the town, feeling a bit peckish, sort of stumbled into Vegetus. Not exactly on the high street, but a few minutes walk off the main drag. Cosy, and welcoming, quite busy on Saturday lunchtime, we hadn't pre booked, so we sat outside in the sunshine for a few minutes while our table was prepared. The vibe is decidedly middle eastern, with the jolliest of hosts. His infectious good humour permeates the place. Spotlessly clean and well organised, we ordered a tagine and a mousaka, with the Beirut cooler for a non alcoholic drink. Both generous servings were delivered after a few minutes, piping hot and delicious. For dessert we had warm baklava with ice cream and a totally yummy (egg free) chocolate cake. The desert was so good, we split it, boxed it and took a slice home for our daughter! I cannot recommend this place enough, we now have a good reason to go back to Cheltenham. Try it, you will love it."

"Spent bit of time in West Ealing and ventured into this quaint Iranian Restaurant. Persian food is probably up there as one of my favourite foods so I was expecting dedicated customer service and exceptional good quality tasty food and just as predicted....... The waiter service was excellent, the place was very clean, the food hot and very tasty, the quality superb and the prices extremely reasonable. I would recommend the Minced lamb kebab which was marinated in onion, lime juice, olive oil, saffron and spices served on Persian pita bread and a bed of mixed salad of chopped mint, lime juice and tarragon. Absolutely delicious and for £5.95 plus £1.55 for plate of humous or chips you can't complain Will be back again very soon"

"I usually don't want to comment on the meal times with the finish, as I know how unfair it is to compare them with table served options. but I feel at this opportunity to write a review. the photo below is from a large moussaka will make it clear that this meal came with a part of rice in a somewhat smaller container (so it is only the moussaka on its own faust), but I must admit that I was extremely disappointed by its presentation, the portion size (I am willing to think how a small moussaka would look), and its taste. I have really bought larger, more attractive and much more tastier moussakas in ready meal form. I do not expect meelin standard presentation from one take away, but on all elements, I feel evaporated. his clear prints the limits of creative licensing to describe the part so big, the taste ok, nothing wrong, but it felt in anyway not authentic and more surprising it certainly not taste fresh (that look and taste felt like yesterday's rest). I can't comment on the rice, it was nothing but an Indian farewell pleasant enough. I wish I had eaten in the restaurant, because I would have complained if that was before me."

"I had always wanted to visit Persia Hove. I often walk past and just admire the menu. I wasn't disappointed with my first visit here during the Eat out to Help out scheme. "This was a last minute decision, after doing a quick google review search we thought this would be worth while based on the rave reviews. Either these are paid reviews or these are the same kind of people that think a ‘chicken korma’ is authentic Indian or your Chinese from the chippy is your authentic Cantonese. The decor is beautiful, the staff are very friendly but are ill equipped, our order was taken then wasn’t given to the kitchen for 15 minutes. Another waiter came and took our order again But anyway, that’s all just white noise, the review is for the food. I want to start this by how I intend to end it. We left most of the food to give to our cat, and to be honest, she wasn’t even that keen either. The lamb Tagine tasted of turmeric. There was nothing more to it. The beef was incredibly well cooked. But just turmeric. I can’t express how weird the sensation is of putting meat, raisins, Seeds, sauce and it all tasting of nothing but turmeric. It was pretty pointless having a meat dish because you could of poured the flavour over bread and not been able to tell the difference. The lamb kofte was dry. It just tasted of parsley and some other spices that didn’t mix well. I don’t even want to discuss. It still upsets me. Won’t ever go back even if it was free. I get more of burst of serotonin from the thought of a Big Mac then the thought of eating this food again"
