"A lovely evening spent with friends at our favourite local pub. Starters of salt cod croquettes and scotch eggs went down beautifully and were followed by flat iron steaks and haunch of venison. All washed down with a delicious Pinot Noir. The bill was punchy but that was more to do with the wine we consumed than anything else. Service was fab, as always and the ambience perfect for a cosy, relaxed evening out."
