"We booked a table for 7 for an 88th family birthday celebration. Service was appalling we waited an hour for our starters to arrive and waited again for the main course. They knew it was a special meal as we sang Happy Birthday before we ordered. The wait was so long that the main guest had to be taken home before the main meal arrived. I expressed our disappointment at the end of the meal and asked if it was always like this. I was told it was because they were very busy with deliveries of takeaway meals and they had little to say when I said, So you prioritise takeaways over diners sitting in the restaurant. PLEASE NOTE : the access to the toilets is very narrow, being partially blocked by furniture and, when you open the door to the Disabled toilet, it is used as a store room and is literally stacked to the ceiling with equipment, so is completely inaccessible. Please see attached photo. My daughter, who works with young people with severe disabilities was extremely annoyed about this, particularly as there was nothing at the front of the restaurant to say the toilet was inaccessible or even out of order. One of our party had a rollator but we were still not told at the start of the meal that there was no Disabled toilet."
