"A nicelooking boozer, not at all pretentious. Not much welcome; I had to ask for a menu, even though I'd booked for lunch.Only two people in. Dreadful music blaring out. When another person arrived, and a very loud chat ensued about medication, I felt very out of place, finished my wine and left.Pub up the road was lovely not on OpenTable so I won't cite the really great staff, superb food and peaceful atmosphere......................They say Soviet agents used to meet in the Red Cow; I doubt it"
