"The best Thai restaurant we've experienced in Durham! Every time we order dinner from there, we are never disappointed. Everything from start to finish is exceptional. We are especially thrilled with the curry—it's the best flavor we've ever had. The taste, portion sizes, and quality of the ingredients are all excellent. And the view of the cathedral is beautiful. Thank you!"

"Place was just shutting down (25th Feb 2018 is last day) before moving to a new location and that has affected both food and service (esp. service as they seemed understaffed). Have been a regular and hopefully the new location the place is back up to the high standards as was in the past"

"Terrible customer service. At 10:50, one of the waiters came to tell us that they were closing in 10 minutes. At 10:51 they brought us the bill and then at 10:52 they started taking the payment. They were basically kicking us out of the restaurant. I removed the service charge (which is optional), for the same and they then came and took the plates away when I was STILL eating. Disgraceful and extremely poor customer service. I do NOT recommend this place at all."

"thanks for a good evening. we had cocktails, appetizers and nets. service and eating were good, but a basic viognier starts at £34, bringing them our bill for four to £250 including a tip that felt pretty sharp for the quality of the offered food, good enough but not big (soft dish crumb: too much teig and sauce overwhelmed the crab, swallow soup doll get too much. , service was efficient and charming and charming. the open kitchen is also a beautiful note, and the seating of the kitchen creates beautiful alcoves for four to sit comfortably."

"The restaurant has a great and extensive menu that can be viewed on their website beforehand. Although the starters were not the best value for the price, we were more than satisfied with the mains. We ordered a variety of dishes including a Thai Papaya Salad and a traditional bowl of Pad Thai. The Sea Bass main was especially delicious and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed a bottle of Sancerre from their good wine list, which was reasonably priced at £20. Overall, it was one of the best Thai meals we've had in a long time, despite having tried many in Brighton Hove."

"After I had passed the siam cottage for many years a day, but set on our way with another near-by-paurier, I decided one day to review their reviews online. there were a couple who had lived in Thailand for many years, but now live. in perth. they said they often make the 4 hours round trip to eat here, as there are “the most authentic Thai aromes they have tasted with Thai” (or words to this effect). with a selection of Thai Chinese dresses it offers for the whole family. I was always a chicken panang or pad thai type, with my partner more in lemon chicken or similar Chinese dishes. in the course of the years we have worked quite a lot on our wise, although the takeaway menu, various dishes that we otherwise do not have. since every court we have tried was excellent, it is encouraged to take a leap of faith try something new every time. our personal favorite is just now the chicken cashew thai style...a taste sensation! The chicken panang is on the same with everything I tasted in Thailand. the service is always excellent, delivery fast we have a smile a chat at the door hit when it comes. price is also very reasonable in consideration of the portion size, for restaurant quality eat directly to their door, it will not be much better than siam cottage. when collecting an order a night from the restaurant, I noticed that the dishes were delivered to tables, looked out raised, very well presented huge portions. the personal was also very attentively friendly. although in the decor in restaurant, we do not tend to visit restaurants for their facility anyway. we visit eating that customer service is confident that a visit would exceed our expectations. we have not sampled many starters/deserts from the Takeaway menu, so can not comment so much on them. we got starters as soon as they were beautiful, but with the portion size they get on their net pages....3 net, a part rice a part bohnenprout nudeln is a fixed for a family of 4 (two adult, two children). we look forward to our next taste feeling. keep them good work."

"For our dinner, we both decided to try the special dishes on the menu. I chose the tamarind duck with a side of sticky rice. I remembered having duck at a market during lunchtime before. The duck tasted delicious, especially when cooked with tamarind, which gave it a warm flavor. The dish was served with a twist of red and green peppers, all covered in a sauce with a unique name, "gai yang som tum khao niew." I would recommend asking for the dish by name if you want to try it. It is a typical regional Thai dish consisting of grilled chicken and papaya salad served with sticky rice."

"For what you pay you get the value for what you eat. Set Meal for 2 was thoroughly enjoyable and just the right amount. A good amount of choicw to choose from the drinks list too. The service was friendly and attentive. The food being served at the right temperatures and a good time in between courses. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and great decor. The location is good if you are looking for drinks or desserts afterwards. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"I’ve been to the Greyhound Cafes in Hong Kong and Bangkok over the years, and thought they were always decent/good, but when I saw some of the reviews for the London branch, I lowered my expectations in case they did something differently. Needless to say, I didn’t need to, we thought it was great. The food was good and all the dishes were nicely presented. The meat/fish dishes came with papaya/mango salad and rice, which were great. I think the pad thai was one of our favourites. The only negative thing was that the Thai iced tea was a bit too sweet for all of us. But we definitely didn’t leave disappointed! Just expect a ‘twist’, they do have a dish with spaghetti after all!"

"Nice decor and friendly staff. The chicken wings for starters were overcooked and tough, and the accompanying sauce too sweet. The veg spring rolls were fine. The wife's main course of vegetable green curry had a lovely variety of well-cooked vegetables, but the sauce was sweet and not spicy, despite asking for it to be spicy. The chicken stir fry dish was excruciatingly sweet, but plenty of fresh chicken and fresh vegetable ingredients, all well cooked. If they could reduce the sugar content of their food, I would come back!"

"terrible. randomly in this place for a fast pre-theater dinner. terrible. I wish we hadn't. the waitress was incredibly rude, the food medium was best. with so many good places to eat in london, this restaurant deserves to go out of business. made me sick to pay for this experience. it is the Thai equivalent of mcdonalds, except in mcdonalds the employees are generally polite and eating is cheap."

"Went for lunch and were the first to be seated. Around 10 minutes later other diners came, communicating in their first language with staff. We were sat waiting to order, no one came back. A young man came to ask if we wanted drinks, we said no and wanted to order food. He just left and didn't take our order as it wasn't his job. Sat there watching staff standing at the juice bar. Then the two diners who arrived after 10 minutes after is were served their food. All still while our order wasn't taken. We were contemplating leaving. A lady sent food back and new food was prepared before our order was even taken. The second time I've been to paste and I felt discriminated against on this occasion. People of the same nationality were served first. One diner finished their meal and we hadn't even had our order. I won't be going back. Shame the foods nice. Cheeky they included a tip on the bill, when we had extremely poor and bad service."

"Again first time dining here, have walked pasted several times and thought must try as it looks amazing, so its easy to get to as there is a car park less than 5 mins away and if after 6pm it's free, on this occasion I hadn't booked I just chanced going in and to be honest they couldn't of been more helpful, was shown to our table and was given ample time to think what we wanted, when the food arrived all I can is wow, **** lovely the best Thai I've had by far, the prices are reasonable to, the only thing negative is the tables are a little close to each other, other than brilliant definitely worth going and certainly will be back."

"I looked at the local reviews which were very mixed but my daughter likes their foof so I thought I'd give it a go. Collected myself so no complaints at deliveroo! The soup was bland and mushrooms not fresh, the pork skewers were unimpressive, even...the vegetarian spring rolls did not taste nice, were they freezer burnt? The duck tamarind was overcooked, i'll stop there except to warn you that in the restaurant they maintain they take cash only, scammers. Chiswick has a myriad of Thai Vietnamese places to eat including quite good genuine pubs so that you don't need to bother with this place."

"We booked a table for 3 and had plenty of space, as we sat at the back of the restaurant; we find sitting at the front a little chilly with the door so close. However, our table was great, the service was very attentive and polite, as usual. The food was brilliant, we prefer here rather than the nearby Giggling Squid. Overall a lovely evening, not rushed and a pleasant atmosphere. The only slightly annoying thing was a couple of small ‘beer flies’ that kept buzzing around our table."

"I’ve been coming here for years. It used to be a lovely place. Nice atmosphere, plants and lovely authentic food. Food is Still okay. This time, got some okay curry that was minimal in size, with such an overpriced plain boiled white rice (at 35% cost of main! that it felt like daylight robbery. Or for desert a basic jasmine tea for the price of a good London pint. Then the rush out with constant questions despite the fact I still had beer and didn’t want desert or tea. This is a shame. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"
