"We searched for the closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as we were picking up relatives. The Cinnamon Tree was the closest option. We booked a table online and were very pleased with the delicious food and generous portions. However, we found it to be quite expensive compared to our local Indian restaurant, which has a nicer setting and decor. The Cinnamon Tree could use an update, especially the upstairs restroom facilities. The staff were friendly though, and we would consider returning if the opportunity arose."

"Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if the occasion arose."

"This was our second visit and we made clear that we wanted the food to be reasonably hot and spicy (our first visit it had been very bland and the korma was sweet). We returned because we were made so welcome, and because the Chicken Satkora was OUTSTANDING, worth a detour This time the food was very good (the lamb Satkora was also outstanding) and we shall definitely return regularly, on our own and with guests and friends. The service was really good; at least in part because I had spent time in Bangladesh and they were delighted to talk about new developments there. We look forward to exploring their menu further."

"This used to be a fantastic restaurant had been using for over 20years. But with the change in management the chef all I can say now is AVOID. We all ended up with food poisoning!! We noticed when eating that the food did not look or taste the same as normal. Within 12 hours all members of my family incl children were violently ill. Contacted the restaurant politely explained the problem. We recieved shouting in return. Told to contact the next day for a refund. Contacted the following day as soon as my husband said his name the shouting started. I went to collect my refund as they had said. I was polite discreet in the restaurant. As the lady there passed me my refund she stated we were not to go there again was aggressive. I stated that we wouldnt had reported to environmental health (I did raise my voice at this point). The male manager then stepped in and literally chased me out of the restaurant into the street demanding I speak to him. For my own safety I kept walking."
