"Took a visiting friend for evening meal. Booking on line was easy and as we were running a bit late rang to let them know and they kept table for us. Friendly waiting staff who went out of their way to make the evening memorable. Our friend has a specific food intolerance and they ensured all food was acceptable and even arranged for a specific sweet not on the menu to be available. They could not have been more helpful. The food was good and I particularly enjoyed the put lentil lasagne! We enjoyed our trip to the Farmhouse and would recommend it. The place is spacious and felt warm and inviting. Give it a go."

"this visit was the worst experience I had at this site, one of my favorites in the rule. the service was charming, but not compensate for the strangest tasting prawn cocktail, a hard gammon steak and very dry lamb kebabs. the drinks were good."

"As this was our first visit to the Crown we were both impressed by the decor.. Karen showed us to our table made us feel special and we felt comfortable from the very start. The food we ordered was cooked to perfection and we both agreed that this would become one of our regular places to eat. The menu is quite extensive and we cannot wait to try a different dish during our next visit. We will certainly recommend this place to others."
"WE BOOKED FOR 6PM FOR THE FAMILY ON SUNDAY OBVIOUSLY THE WRONG CHOICE AS WE WERE TOLD OF 40 MINUTE DELAY ON FOOD AS WE ARRIVED .. WITH AN 18 MNTH OLD CHILD THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A REAL PROBLEM BUT THE STAFF AND OTHER DINERS WERE VERY TOLERANT OF THIS LITTLE SOUL WHO KEPT EVERYONE ENTERTAINED .. A LITTLE WARNING AND WE COULD HAVE BROUGHT A SNACK"
