"This pub is a charming step back in time, perhaps by years. Guests are first seated in a lounge, offered drinks and given a great deal of time to study the menus. Everything happens very slowly so you need time to properly enjoy this place. Once orders are placed you are led to a well presented table and, after a decent amount of time, service commences. We had the bon Appetit menu, the soup was absolutely outstanding, the main courses good, and the apple Tart Tatin desert was historic."
