"I used to love Withies. Quality food, excellent service and staff that really seemed to take pride in their work. This experience was anything but the above. Few people booked on a Friday night (they clearly knew something I didn’t). The service was lack lustre, a feeling that they were delivering the minimum with zero interest in customer experience. I mistakenly ordered the Turkey Christmas Main. It was dry and came with two pigs in blankets and a square of stuffing on the plate. Yes there were additional vegetables in the terrine but I couldn’t quite recover from how sad the plate was. Prices were average, but considering it was supposed to be a treat of an evening out I was bitterly disappointed. Save your money and go somewhere else. I shan’t be returning."
