"I was impressed that this lovely wee spot is on Easter Road. It's a friendly cosy place. Central bar with seating available on both sides, with a roaring fire and live sports on the TV's.We came here for dinner and opted for their for on all pizza's and burgers deal. What we didn't realise is that you both had to have pizza or a burger to qualify. So we ended up paying full price for our dinner which wouldn't have hurt so much had the food been nice.I opted for the classic burger with black pudding and chips and my friend the Goats Cheese pizza. The chips were cold on arrival and were hastily sent back. The burger was roasting hot but it was dry. Along with the crispy flaky bun it was drier than the Sahara! The pizza was advertised as made in their pizza oven with homemade fresh dough but it certainly didn't taste as if it was either. However, the service was friendly and helpful. A little slow but with only two people serving a full busy pub what can you expect. They have a great selection of beers and I see it as a good spot for locals to meet, drink beer and watch some sport. They are also dog friendly and very helpful in handing out water bowls."
