"It's the hard rock cafe an institution. When I first came to London I loved visiting here with the great atmosphere, the music and food. I wasn't disappointed. It was very busy and they managed to squeeze us in. I loved it. It brought back fond memories of coming here with friends and soaking it all in. Food was great, the milkshake wasn't thick enough but I had an awesome time. It hasn't lost it's old world charm. I recommend it to people visiting and the prices are affordable. "I had to pull a waiter over after been seated for 15 minutes to ask if we could order as I hadn’t even ordered a drink at this point. I ordered all the drinks and food at the same time as I didn’t know how long it was going to take. Two people that were seated after us got their drinks and food way before us. Food was ok but not worth the menu prices. I had the New York strip steak which came well done even though I asked for medium rare. The mash had skin in it which I don’t know if it was supposed to but I found the taste of the skin overpowering. The veg was watery which then made the rest of the food watery. I got the Bangkok shrimp with my meal but couldn’t taste shrimp it was just like crispy breadcrumbs. It had a sweet taste which didn’t compliment the rest of the food. To be honest the whole meal tasted plain and like something I would expect in a Wetherspoon. No flavour. My son had the pasta which was a very very small portion and the marinara sauce which we asked to be served on the side was freezing cold like it hadn’t been heated at all, it had just come out of the fridge and I think they must of forgotten to heat it. The sundae was massive and the only reason I have given a average for the food and not a poor rating. Last time we ate here it was lovely. The waiter seemed to pay more attention filling up the glasses of the people having brunch. I got charged a 13.5 service charge too which I wouldn’t of paid if it wasn’t added to the bill. I would of sent the food back but the rate we were being served I thought we’d be there all night if I had done that. All in all I was disappointed"

"I enjoyed the atmosphere but the service was slow if somewhat non-existent. At no stage were we asked if we'd like other drinks other than the initial drinks order. The food was horrible. My mother asked for her steak medium rare and it came burnt and overdone. My father had asked for loaded fries and got plain chips. The twisted Mac and cheese I had was ok but the garlic bread was inedible due to not being properly cooked I've been to a few hard rock cafes over the years but would not go back to the Glasgow one again."

"good eating beautiful ambiente we ate in the hard rock in our first night. we were tired, so we had only one main course. I had the atomburger without cheese and my man had a burger with a lateral part of the tweebel rings. the food and the service were really good. there was a Thursday evening the restaurant was busy, but there were still tables available. we enjoyed eating so much that we also went back on Friday night. we ordered wings to start and the same burger as the night before with tweebel rings. when we visit sometime again, we will definitely go back as eating was great."

"Highly recommended. Great atmosphere and an excellent steak restaurant with a wide variety menu extending beyond meat. My husband loves steaks and I was looking for a special restaurant for his birthday dinner during our trip to Liverpool. I found this restaurant on my own, I liked the menu I saw online and our dining experience exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is a combo of cozy and warm and elegant and the service was good. We loved our drinks (a good American bourbon selection for my husband) and I had a terrific old-fashioned. But most important, the food was excellent. My husband had a wonderful steak dinner (filet and perfectly grilled asparagus); I'm a vegetarian and had a delicious baked augergine entree (thanks to our server who recommended it). And a thank you to the staff for providing an unexpected birthday dessert. Overall, a very nice dining experience."

"Awful. Miserable service. Flat beer. Chewy calamari in a tasteless sauce. Soggy truffle fries. Overcooked hamburger. Thank God they were out of steak, God only knows what that would have been like! (And that was 25% of their main course menu! They never brought out the spinach, but tried to charge us. Nothing American about it."

"Ordered a Pepperoni Pizza for £16.50. It was overcooked, undertopped and had 9 tiny slices of pepperoni on a 12 inch pizza. I sent it back. Tried the beef burger. A whopper at Burger King is far better. Bun was dry, coleslaw was dripping wet, fries were like kebab shop fries and the burger was thin with a weird aftertaste. Absolutely awful. They did not ask me how my meal was on collection. I will not eat here again. Service: Dine in"

"My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on a quiet Friday night. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived, so we were looking for a spot to have cocktails and some food. We found exactly what we were looking for here! The cocktails were amazing and the staff was very friendly. I ordered a burrito and fried halloumi, which were delicious. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's chilly Philly steak was cold and rubbery. We informed the staff, who promptly replaced it with a hot and juicy burger. We were grateful for the quick resolution, and it turned our night around. The music was loud, but we didn't mind. The prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back again!"
