"It's soo sad to see a once highly regarded restaurant turn into a dead pan place to visit. The service is appallingly slow, with waiters who had no charisma, conversation or care. We were there for 2 hours waiting for a main dish, all the while takeaway orders were flying out the door. We had to ask twice for a drink and 3 times for the bill and the restaurant was 2/3 empty! Clearly their focus is on online orders now whereas before you either had ti collect or eat in. They aren't cut out for both. The food was good, not wonderful as it was before covid. Before i would never go anywhere else for my indian, now i do not see the appeal in using the Bombay. They have nothing over any of the other local restaurants. Whoever the current owners are need to inject some life back into the place, or at best a waiter who isnt running takeaway orders over waiting tables. Very dissatisfied at the restaurant, i wont be rushing back any time soon."
