"I had the orange fondant blood orange sorbet for dessert was expecting an orange posset type dessert. It was actually a chocolate orange fondant pudding which isn't clearly stated. Perfect for a chocolate lover but not for me unfortunately. First two courses delicious mind overall a wonderful evening."

"We came to Browns at Bluewater for an afternoon tea and Dominic was our server and made our visit unbelievably enjoyable. No ask was too big and every time we troubled him he was always happy to oblige. He is a huge asset to Browns and I would absolutely return because of how wonderful the service was 5 star service!"

"we always liked browns and were this time in birmingham. I love the atmosphere and the service was great, but eating. it's just a little disappointing. our friends had the steak pie. Now this was always a guaranteed winner, but not only this time (before in oxford), where the meat was replaced by fat dumps. the pork belly was just a piece of fat with a teeny tiny piece of knistering. had it sent back, but we were friends and out to see such a limited show in time. on the bright side my sea bream was excellent; nicely cooked and delicious. and the birthday dessert wishes were a nice note. so they come to browns time to return to their former glory"

"The service was terrible, with rude staff who slammed our drinks on the table. They couldn't even explain the menu properly. The meat was overcooked, the vegetables were undercooked, and there was no actual fish in the so-called 'chef's recommendation'. I will not be returning to this restaurant."
