"Excellent food and wonderfully friendly staff! I ordered the chicken piccante, and it was outstanding. The only suggestion I have for improvement is the lighting, which was quite bright; otherwise, I would have rated the atmosphere five stars as well. "Visited Carlo’s many times, recently it has gone downhill. Service extremely slow on a lunch break waited for 35 minutes for four dishes and restaurant was not even busy! Drinks served warm in a warm glass. I had the seafood risotto the risotto was hard and the sauce was watery and the prawns were translucent. Other people in my party also had inedible meals. The prices seem to have drastically increased £17 for lunch is very over priced for the area especially with the low standards provided."
