"The food : Amazing. I had the Outlaw cocktail, a very good and tasty discovery (good idea, well mixed , the Pigeon with pistachios may have a been a tiny dry but maybe I don't know how pigeons should be eaten ! The venison was very good, the red wine excellent, and the Lanark blue also very good. My friend had the fish and the sticky toffee pudding which was one of the best I ever tasted (even if a tiny bit too sweet . The location : we had the chance to sit next to a window with a direct view on the castle. By night, this is very romantic. In general, the restaurant is very romantic, classy, chic, clean. It was a cold evening in January so the restaurant was very calm, but warm : and has a lot of space. The service : absolutely perfect. Someone attends to you when you arrive, offers to take your coat (there's a place for it downstairs , then you go upstairs to eat and someone else takes care of you for the entire evening. They were all very nice, available and give you good advice on the food and drinks. A pleasant meal in a nice place with great service !"
