"Ordered a chefs special (Asian style) pizza however I received some random pizza with donner on it. Even the donner was raw and did not taste right so had to bin it. Very disappointed as was looking forward to a decent pizza. Ordered few times before and it was good however was really badly let down this time. Won't be ordering again for sure. "Myself and my wife have been to Zayna four times during recent trips up the Chiltern line to London and it is, quite simply, fabulous. The curry is second to none in central London and as true Brummies, we know our curries . We have been, in previous visits to more expensive and well marketed Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani eateries in and around Marylebone and Fitzrovia one of which is even boasted that he unmissable hideousness of a table full of loadsamoney noisy oafs which I don’t seem to recall were part of that particular restaurant website’s sales pitch. In any case, none can touch Zayna. We had Mukhun Murgh, Aloo Gobi, and Tarka Dhaal. We accompanied our mains with the sublime garlic naan you simply must… peas pilau, and the garlic pilau chef’s kiss . So, we will keep going back. The hospitality from Shan and his staff is always one of the warmth and good humour. The cuisine is excellent. The atmosphere cosy, and the personal touches of a family run restaurant there for the keen eye to see. It’s worth it alone for the two magnificent hand carved mirrors that adorn one wall, that took one man and one chisel six months to complete. You must go."

"bookable for 3, which a child, turned to find over 20 people outside waiting for entry. from others waiting in wait, a mistake was found in the booking system so that all table bookings were accepted, but they did not honor any of them. it had come first, served first. over 20 minutes asked, and the feedback from customers who go, it was 2 hours to eat dinner dinner, since service was slow. even if we have made it inside, that a handwritten statement on the wall said that the card machine was broken, so that only cash would be accepted. was there with a child and had booked before the concert later in the evening. decided after 45 minutes waiting time that we had to go to another place to make sure we had a dinner before the concert. at no time has anyone from the restaurant talked to the people in the waiting queue while we were there. a great experience. will not be able to reserve table again if this is how they treat people."

"I gave my order to my son to collect from Chillis on 22/10/22. The order was for a chicken tikka masala, onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes, plain rice and a Peshwari naan. When my son brought the food home, I could see straight away that food colouring had been used in the chicken tikka masala as it was bright red but what was most disappointing is that I had been charged £10.95 for it and it only had seven pieces of chicken in it and two of those pieces were quite small. The Bombay potato was equally disappointing. It was too salty and far too spicy and at £5.95, way too expensive. Bombay potato is one of my favourite things to eat. After a few mouthfuls, I couldn't eat any more of it. The Peshwari naan bread looked more like a paratha and for some unknown reason also had red food colouring in it. Overall, it was quite disappointing and too expensive for what we got."

"Do not make a reservation at this restaurant! They are unreliable. We booked a table for a party of 5 at 4pm and traveled all the way from Essex, only to find the place closed. We tried calling multiple times with no answer, and even messaged them on Instagram, where the owner responded with attitude. They need to improve their website and booking process, especially if they only open at 6pm on weekdays. They should also be more considerate towards customers and treat each individual with respect."

"This is probably the best curry I have had in many years. The menu is not extensive, which is a good thing because the dishes we tried were full of flavor (instead of just being different main ingredients in the same sauce, as is common in many curry houses). "My family and I celebrated my brothers 18th birthday and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and the food was full of flavour. The mocktails were incredible. Everything was presented beautifully and the decor inside the restaurant was stunning too, we were seated in a booth and there was plenty of room. Our server Yogesh was very helpful and polite. I would highly recommend for a birthday meal!"
