"il start with iv ordered her before and the food was amazing. unfortunately, terrible experience this time as i ordered to the same address which i never received the food. Restaurant says the driver was at the gate for a long period, which after checking cctv that was not the case and so i called just eat and got no resolution, i called the restaurant on the night and they said to call just eat to get my money back, which when just eat called the declined the refund, so iv payed money and recived a awfull service and no food. Real shame because the food is wonderful"

"The Bay Leaf Indian Restaurant only opened a few weeks ago so tonight we decided to order a take away. Their website directed us to Just Eat where the meu was available and the choice of delivery or collection and ordering online was quite easy. It's a nice big menu so after making our choices and deciding to collect we were shown what we had ordered and then clicked through to Checkout where we then had to register with Just Eat before continuing. We paid by Debit Card but there was still an additional 50p added for using Just Eat. On collecting the order the staff could not have been friendlier and the food was very very good. We now have their menu so will ring our order through direct to them in future and pay when we collect. This will save us the 50p and the restaurant the fee they have to pay Just Eat. It seems that a lot of the complaints were about the delay in delivery. We will certainly go there again."

"My family of six has dined at this restaurant many times in the past. However, during our visit yesterday, I was extremely disappointed with the manager's attitude. When a hair was found in the lamb shank in the kabuli pulao, my husband brought it to the manager's attention. The manager's response was that they have only male staff, so it wasn't their fault that hair was in the meat. He also said that if we couldn't afford to pay, we should leave. This kind of attitude was unacceptable. Despite the manager ultimately removing the cost of the kabuli pulao from our bill, the overall treatment of customers was really disappointing. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future."
