"Was staying at Ascott Hotel for business, 10 mins along the road and seems some good restaurants along here. To be fair, all restaurants looks good and well reviewed but fancied a burger and couldn't resist trying this Triple Threat burger! Didn't realise at the time but to add a drink was only few quid extra so saved about £4 getting the Rekorderlig cider! Surprised with the amount of chips that came with it but not complaining and just about finished the full plate. Staff was very good and as I came on a Tuesday evening, it was Karaoke night so music was quite loud and noone took the mic apart from the DJ who sang one song during my 75mins or so that I was there. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"We went on my wife's birthday. First things first, the service is always fantastic at this restaurant. We go every year. I had a grilled sea bream and it was absolutely delicious. Really nice balance of flavours (although it didn't need the tapenade, nice as it was). We think that the mussels service was down on size on this last visit and the mussels were not their usual plumply-gorgeousness so I've given a 4* for food this time. Calamari starter is always my go-to and it didn't let me down. My daughter had a fillet steak and she said it was delicious Great visit, worth it for the service alone"

"I stayed here at the two weeks ago with my husband for my sixtieth birthday. Our room was upgraded because it was a special birthday and there was a bottle of Prosecco waiting for me . The room was lovely , the staff very friendly. The hotel is very well situated in Eton . I realised I’d left items in the room when I got home . I phoned the hotel and they kindly sent them to me. I would highly recommend this hotel . Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Walkability: Very close to the Thames and Windsor Castle"
