"I would advise friends to eat in the late or very early evening as it was extremely busy, so we had to wait for about minutes for our meal, so the booking on a Saturday evening would avoid."

"I was recommended by friend to come here and then realized that I buy their sauce pots from our local country market for age groups! Food and service was incredible! will be back soon!!"

"I feel harsh giving 3 star because the chef was amazing and that’s the main thing but it’s a tiny place it’s like someone’s house kitchen TV just has normal tv on while the woman sits on the sofa . I don’t think she’s being rude on purpose but she is just rude hardly speaks and when she does she speaks to you like you’re not a customer . She wasn’t bringing out the drinks we ordered so we asked after about 10 minutes she then spoke to a man who went to the shop and came back with some drinks in a bag (what I ordered) feel abit robbed from that . The bill was £54 she didn’t show any receipt but we got 2 Cobras 1 sprite 2 papadoms 1 Chicken lollipop starter Nan basket 1 salad 1 chicken byrani 1 savannah special So probably some service charge added on to get to that price as the 2 mains only came to £20 from what I remember looking at the menu so we’ve some how spent £34 on rest I wouldn’t go back felt way to awkward watching itv in someone’s kitchen"

"We arrived at the parking lot on time. I assured my partner that there was no problem as I had booked a table. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, it was completely full. The sofas were occupied, and we were told there would be a 5-minute wait."

"During our three-night stay in Newcastle, we decided to explore three different restaurants, one of which was Indian cuisine. Valley Junction came highly recommended, and we were thrilled to take a short, three-stop journey on the Metro, which was easy to navigate. Once we arrived, we were greeted with delicious food and a lovely ambiance. The menu was extensive yet easy to understand. The restaurant is uniquely located in an old signal box and a vintage railway carriage, right next to a former railway line—such a clever concept!"

"Our order arrived at stated time..well it didn't take long to eat as we loved every dish. Each dish was generous in portion arrived piping hot. All meat was tender plentiful my vegetarian dish was amazingly tasty. I've written this straight after washing up as I was that impressed. We'll be ordering again soon especially as it tastes so different to others we've tried new dishes for us to explore we've not had before. Highly recommend this treasure."

"Initially I was surprised at the entrance of the restaurant as it looked as though it needed some TLC and did not look like the pictures, but once we were greeted by a lovely host my concerns evaporated and I was looking forward to a lovely authentic meal. Although the staff were lovely and kind, unfortunately the food was not the best. Starters at £9 each and the samosas and the vegetable kebab were well below standard. The samosa was in a type of short crust pastry which I have never had anywhere before and was flavorless. The mains were a good portion size and one rice portion was enough for 2, but the curries lack of flavor, almost made me want to ask for some salt. Even with the discount applied my bill would be the same at any Indian restaurant, so was not worth making the trip. Considering its rating of 9.3 on here, I was expecting a lot more, as well as the area and prices displayed. £5,50 for a bottle of still water kind of summed it up."
