"Very disappointed. I ordered from Shri Bheema because on its website it said the Bridge of Don location was open. I ordered for collection with the JustEat website quoting me for pickup. When I finished processing the order at the confirmation said pickup had changed to Not ideal, but manageable. I arrived at the Bridge of Don location to find out that it was closed and the food was coming from Belmont Street. I was disheartened by this, but they explained they could not get staff from India to fill the kitchen. I really want to be sympathetic, but it was before my food arrived which leads to my poor review. The food was good. Lamb korma was light and sweet, perfect for my kids. Chicken patia was surprisingly spicy, but so delicious I ate through the sweats. The naan was huge and each curry would give two generous portions. However, Shri Bheema is more expensive than others and if you can't get the food in good time, then my view is it isn't worth it."

"We have dined at this restaurant twice in the past few weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals on both occasions. Despite being open for only a month, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We plan to take some pictures of the food during our next visit."

" believe it's my go-to Indian spot in London! This was my second visit to Dishoom, but my first time at their Shoreditch branch. The ambiance of the restaurant is delightful, and the food is absolutely delicious."

"booked table in front of the football game with us had to hunt our eating twice forward as we were for the time tight. the waiter explains minutes is normal, how meat cooked on grill. eating was excellent and byob option is perfect, but would have been of good if time factor recommended, but we will know the next time!"

"The server and chef at this restaurant were fantastic. We arrived for a late dinner just 30 minutes before closing, but we were warmly welcomed and didn't feel rushed at all. I mentioned that I was craving a vada pav, even though it wasn't on the dinner menu, and they generously made one for me. It turned out to be the best vada pav I've ever had outside of India. We also tried a variety of naans, with the cheese chili and garlic naan being my favorites. The paneer butter masala was delicious and the dal makhni was heavenly. I highly recommend this place if you're in London. The service, cleanliness, and food quality are all top-notch and definitely worth a visit."

"First time. Food is authentic and we enjoyed it. Couple of large groups celebrating birthdays for a twenty old and another for eighty old shows popularity with locals. We ended up on a very spicy ride with Kadhai Veg and Veg Hakka noodles. Wiser for the next visit!! Thai veg curry was good but could have more veggies. Portion size generous to match price. Ambience and decor could improve. Dessert listing may need fresh idea. Suggest to add Chinese soup. Service is fast and receptive."

"The Guglee is not as special as the elaborate and attractively presented menu booklet might lead you to expect. Our food was hot but not particularly tasty or subtle. The rather too loud Indian pop playing throughout did not improve the ambiance and the loo was downstairs and approached via a somewhat scruffy corridor so presumably no access for the disabled. The restaurant was convenient for the Hampstead Theatre but on a Saturday night was far from full so the residents of Swiss Cottage are clearly not fans and we would not go back."

"We decided on this restaurant as it was close to our daughters flat (who was studying in Edinburgh) and we love good Indian food..... Edinburgh has its fair share of good Indian's and this one is not to be missed. The food was very good. Service was excellent considering it was extremely busy and value was superb. All in all one not to miss."

"Visited here Friday night for a hen weekend. We chose here as the menu had a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. Unfortunately it was a huge dissapointment. Not only was the server rude and seemingly didn’t know what she was doing. We had hair or the naan breads. We didn’t even get a sorry until we actually asked for an apology. The only thing we got in return was the one naan taken off our bill. So for us, we paid a fortune for our meal that was inedible due to poor hygeine in the kitchen and the staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing."

"The food at this restaurant was delicious, with the perfect amount of spice. The menu was a bit limited, mostly featuring rice and lamb dishes with few other meat options. Each dish we tried was beautifully presented and incredibly flavorful. Despite the pub-like atmosphere, everyone in our group had a great time. We sat in the back to escape the noise from a football match, but were bothered by a flickering light. If you're more focused on the food than the ambiance, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for enjoying Indian cuisine."

"Cannot fault the Copper Lounge. The staff are mega polite and friendly. Always feels clean and tidy. The food both starters and mains always hot, good portion sizes and so tasty. I've tried almost every Chicken dish now and every time the quality of the Chicken is brilliant. Well worth the money if you don't mind paying a touch extra for a great meal."

"Wow what a disappointment clearly all fake reviews or people that eat out of a bin on a daily the chicken tikka masala was awful no flavour just pure spice sp bland the chips was rubber the poppadoms was all crushed in a bag and wasn't fresh near enough stale the chicken wasn't good quality either and the chicken tikka starter was just spicey af chicken pieces chicken tikka should never be that spicey I like spicey food if it has flavour because that's the whole point of spice to bring out the flavour but the flavour was non existent I'd recommend next time someone orders to just ask for pure chilli extract and some rice seriously and the price of this place is a joke for the portion size you get there size of everything is tiny 12.99 for a flavourless chilli extract masala is laughable learn to cook you do not deserve the rating you have and I wish you nothing but bad business here on out. Merry Christmas. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"My two friends and I visited Nimboo on a Friday night. The restaurant was only half full, so we were seated next to a wall. I placed my soft leather handbag on the floor next to my chair and ordered the fish curry, which unfortunately was disappointing. The dish resembled a thick tomato soup with small bits of fish. When I picked up my bag, I discovered it was wet and the leather had become soft like a sponge, ruining it. There was a leak next to me, so I informed the waitress who seemed unsure of the issue. The waiter brought a folded tablecloth to soak up the water, but did not address my damaged bag. As I walked to the bathroom, I noticed cartons on the floor to absorb the leaking water. I was puzzled as to why we were seated at that table when they were aware of the leak. I have no plans to return to Nimboo after this experience."

"From the outside this restaurant doesn’t look like much. Don’t be fooled. This place is FANTASTIC. We went as a group of 4 and had a great time there. It wasn’t particularly busy the night we were there. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and was friendly too. It makes such a difference when the waiter is doing a good job, and this guy was brilliant. We ordered some garlic mushrooms that weren’t on the menu. The waiter assured us the chef would be more than happy to do a special dish for us which was great. Every dish we ordered was really tasty and looked as though the chef had really put a lot of effort in to each dish. I will certainly be returning soon. Highly recommended. Thanks"

"This restaurant is amazing and definitely serves the best vegetarian momos we have had in London. We have tried momos at various places, and this place is the top pick. The Soup Momo is exceptional, and the other dishes were also delicious. The Kulfi dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here."

"We got to the restaurant and the young lady first advised us we were at the wrong place, she told us that we had come to Southall Road and not South Road, She was incorrect anyway after sorting that out she said we had no booking even though I had an email confirmation. She then told us it was ok as they had spare tables. We have historically come here a lot and the staff are normally great. but have to say the staff did not have a clue and made the experience a little poor. Drinks took to long to come and when they did they came one at a time. I would come back but I'm hoping the current staff are not. Also you cannot place a charitable contribution to peoples bill without asking. Its not the quantum but the principle"

"Sakonis offers Indian vegetarian food with some Indo Chinese options and is located on Ealing Road, now for quite some time a predominantly Gujarati area of London, with its menu largely reflecting its local customer base. The restaurant is relatively large and this was our second visit in as many months. Last month we were able to walk in and dine without a reservation but this time we had a reservation for the six of us, which was a wise decision because there were queues at times that we observed. While the buffet seemed extremely popular (especially for the soft ice cream! and our server encouraged us to avail of the buffet, not unsurprisingly, we opted for a la carte a decision that we did not regret. The Sakonis website is very modern and loads quickly, offering modern and well taken photographs of some of the dishes. The mogo chips were one of the starters that we ordered and were well made, a little crispy around the edges, soft in the middle, with a spicy sauce that was right at the cusp. We also ordered the palak paneer and the paneer butter masala, both of which were excellent. Of the two I would say that the latter was a little more flavoursome a surprise since I love spinach perhaps the palak paneer could have been a little more spicy. But the star of the show was surely the bathuras that came with those particular large plates (options also included naan and puri . In fact they were so popular with our group that we ordered an additional four and although they took rather long to arrive, when we compared our fresh, hot bathuras that lingered on the buffet table getting cold, we were sure that we had made the right decision. We also ordered a hakka noodles but that was rather insipid both in look and taste although we could see plenty of diners ordering the Indo Chinese dishes. The masala tea was just alright not nearly as good as Dishoom's for example, but the inclusion of a Parle G biscuit is a cute touch. Service was great even if the late order of bathuras was rather slow. Ria was particularly helpful. We plan to visit again in the summer."

"I went to the Luton branch with is newly opened for breakfast. I made a reservation the night before. On arrival we were met with 4/5 workers saying they didn’t have our reservation! We informed them it was reserved yesterday and it was all confirmed with a gentlemen. The tables were empty apart from one family, no reservations notices on the table and they’re telling me we can’t sit because We don’t have a reservation. The woman at the front with the glasses is extremely rude! She will say no even before you tell her your name! They seemed really annoyed, they then told us we could have the back table, we sat down. We ordered breakfast, we were served by Ella, who was absolutely lovely so attentive. We got our tea well before breakfast, so the tea was cold by the time breakfast came. I wouldn’t go back to this branch again as I found some of the staff rude and annoyed as they assumed we didn’t have a reservation! Another couple came and they were also questioned about their reservation which they also had made! They tend to turn people away even though tables are empty! At least if they have the reservation tickets on them you know they’re reserved. I wouldn’t go back here again because of the staff attitude."

"I had a wonderful birthday dinner here last Friday and couldn't find anything wrong with the food or the service. The staff were delightful, well-informed about the menu, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. It's quite rare to come across restaurants like this these days. I will definitely be returning!"
