"This is a bijou gastro pub and our first visit. It has 3 bedrooms, all modernised and tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds. The rooms are quiet and relaxing. The staff were all lovely very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The pub has quite a large dining room in a new extension at the rear. It offers a set menu on certain days and an À la carte. We opted for the set menu as it was well balanced and also included a glass of wine, all in for £25. It was well presented and delicious. What's not to like? If you're working, be warned breakfast isn't served until 9:00am, but it's well worth waiting for as the chefs prepare it. As we visit travel down from Manchester to see old friends in Henley regularly, we'll certainly be back, always assuming we can get in. It was a lovely stay in classic rural location.
