"Service was incredibly attentive and perhaps better than the NYC location in it's formalness. The pate en croute was very well made however it's only half a slice which is a bit of an odd presentation. Burger grind is very nice on the classic burger and the morbier cheese gives it a unique flavor combination. I ordered it medium rare and it came medium well. Both the waiter and chef were quick to admit it was overdone and brought a proper replacement perfectly medium rare very fast. Very cozy atmosphere that made you feel at home with a low noise making it easy for conversation."

"We came here for lunch because of being fans of The Dairy in Clapham. I started with sauerkraut and cheddar croquettes which I thoroughly enjoyed they were flavoursome and moorish. My partner ordered pork scratchings with Lino kimchi and Szechuan mayo again a really tasty starter. I opted for a large plate and glass of wine of the day that was essentially some leaves, slightly grilled courgettes, peas and ricotta. Despite being enjoyable, it certainly wasn 't a large plate, more a starter size and left me hungry. My partner had Lino Merguez sausage done in a cassoulet style that was more satisfying although his verdict was 'pub grub '. All in all rather good but portion size is not quite right for mains."

"The feeling was that the food was cooked without love, but it was eatable. Although the service needs some serious shaping up. At one point we hade to remind the waiter that we it was easier to try the wine he just corked up if we were to have wine glasses. The place has potential to be rather nice and cosy, but the management have some work to do."

"now it is a beautiful place with good atmosphere and decor, vey friendly staff and good service and a tempting menu quality of eating but is best in average, the execution of everything was very difficult handmade and lack of raffinesse. in quid for men with minimal alcohol, expecting them better goatse salat was drowned at the dressing and went seriously over the amount of the cheese too. Chickens were tasty, although I had very little experience steak was a decent piece meat, but the frits were a serious burrowing, they seemed tempting"

"Worthy of the recent plaudits. Coq au Vin in a small French bistro in the same location as, what i thought of at the time 18 years ago, a smart Italian restaurant on Trinity Road in Tooting which I can assure you 18 years was NOT smart. was interesting. Rewind a little. We, that 's Lisa and I, looked for somewhere local and found somewhere, which a friend when asked, 'had they been there ', replied, 'Is it a swingers club? ', Bellevue Rendez vous you can see why...Anyway it had good local reviews unpretentious, great value, very pregnant patron (added authenticity) and didn 't disappoint. Having been, and still trying to be, on a diet of sorts, the idea of Coq au Vin did it for me ...read more"

"just after the reopening it was not sure how it would be. you go in, get your temperature scanned and you sit when you come by (I don't know what happens when your attempt looks suspicious). we sit on them between tables with people who are not really looking for a safe distance. we wanted to try the scrambled eggs and cornish crab however due to the reduction of the available items, this was not on the menu, but if we asked for it, our waiter went into the kitchen and got them to make it. they would highly recommend for their quality of food and first class service!"

"After reading so many great reviews from bullys, I am delighted that it was not disappointed. it has a really nice atmosphere, attentive and friendly service and tasty eating. I had fish-based courses, which is husband meat based and it was all beautifully presented and tasted delicious. good value for money also for quality. will I go back to cardiff next time"

"After dining at this restaurant multiple times, I made a reservation for dinner with three friends and was extremely let down by the decline in quality. The cocktails lacked flavor, the wine was tasteless, and all the food was overly salty. The lemon sole was overcooked, the butter sauce tasted burnt instead of nutty. The aubergine main dish was small and lacked flavor, more suitable as a starter. The halloumi main was bland and the sole goujons were lukewarm at best. The dessert, rhubarb frangipane, tasted like a subpar Bakewell tart with minimal rhubarb, and the Balthazar coupe was overly sweet. At a price of £270, this meal was far too expensive for the subpar quality. I am unsure if there has been a change in management at this restaurant, but I was truly disappointed and embarrassed to have recommended it to my friends. I will not be returning or suggesting this restaurant to others in the future."

"Lovely relaxing restaurant with excellent ambience emanating from owner and staff with excellent attention to detail. Food first class and carefully crafted and fully explained by staff prior to ordering, limited by very good fresh and delicately prepared menu. Sweet to die for and excellent cheese board with great selection of cheeses all carefully maintained to reach the table in first class condition. A great relaxed evening and looking forward to introduce other friends when filming in Cardiff."

"We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea; while the sandwiches lacked flavor, the biscuits and cakes were outstanding. The host was very flexible and accommodating when we needed to change our reservation time at the last minute."

"Randomly decided to have lunch here. Previously, always walk by and never thought of twice to stop for a meal. Glad we stopped and they had a table available. Love the interior decor. Option on nice big window seating or you can site further in away from the natural light for a more cozier atmosphere. Waiting service is excellent no issues and friendly. A few dietery and gluten free options available which always a plus. Prices are great and the food was very tasty and perfectly seasoned for my taste buds. Manager was very polite and personable. For a traditional French and English meal and good service with out spending too much I would highly recommend. Will visit again to try out more of their cruises."

"A pleasant and well-placed re-establishment of one of these tiny shop front restaurants that you will find in Paris. Good base, menu. Beef Bourginon was generous and rich. The experience was abandoned by the poor-mass bread and a pretty sweet, possibly sold-out salad dressing for the tiny green salad side-dish. A small, but sufficient and comfortable table in the shop window provided a nice entertainment, but a strange, obtrusive pipe music playlist of loud 1970s references. Winelist appeared, but along with some originality of thinking and procurement with some decent and affordable bottles. Overall, a reliable place to eat when you are in this piece London. Not pretentious, amiable, not overestimated. Some small tweets could make it even better."

"I went to this restaurant with my son yesterday while in Leamington Spa and had a wonderful experience with the 6 course Soirée Gastronomique menu as well as other delicious options. The house white wine was also very enjoyable and refreshing. I would like to give a special mention to the fantastic service provided by Philippe and the lovely Pauline. They were very professional and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure that my son and I had a great dining experience. Thank you to the entire staff, we will definitely be returning in the future."

"Our feeling was that it was averagely OK priced higher than it should be. I felt that the wine in particular was, at £6.50 per 175mm glass rather expensive. The wine was good but not a £26 bottle wine. We shared a cheese board to finish, which at £7.50 had meagre portions. A total bill of £71 for shared bread and olives, 2 mains, shared cheeseboard, 1 small bear, 3 glasses of wine, was some £10 £15 more than it should have been"

"A little French gem in Fulham. There is a genuine French chef who knows how to cook excellent country food and Parisian owner who is both welcoming and knowledgable about his wines. Homemade bread with pork terrine, onion marmalade and onion soup were all first class as were the lamb shank with cous cous, garlic spinach and fantastic chips. Topped off with the house Cotes du Rhone (unfiltered) made for a wonderful meal. We'll be going back."
