"My partner booked a meal here to celebrate my birthday and I must say I was super excited as this was my first 3 star Michelin meal. We both went for the set menu and I must say there were some really delicious plates as well as disappointing ones. Overall the food didn’t really live up to my expectations of a 3 Michelin star restaurant but the service was impeccable. One thing was that we had a bigger bill than we expected as some other tables drinks were mixed up with our table, we waited for the new bill and was given our drinks as free as an apology which was great."

"We are so glad we found this place! We were wandering around the area looking for something nice and quiet with great food. We found it! The fish was absolutely amazing. Excellent cut of fillet with really nice buttery sauce. Yes, it may not have been huge but it tasted great and I'd have it again. My girlfriend had the steak and ale pie and loved it. I tried a bit of it and found it very tasty as well. The service was great! I walked in without reservation. Originally the table I got wasn't great. Due to the cancelation of a reservation, the waiter came up to us without us asking and he asked us if we wanted to move to a better table. The table we got was very nice. We appreciated the offer. I definitely recommend."
