"This is a restaurant we have eaten in many times over the years and have always enjoyed. However, today was quite different. My wife and I went for lunch and the first thing that surprised us was that there was no lunch menu a la carte only. On that menu, starters were priced from £8 with mains from £17. We duly ordered some wine £23 for the house Shiraz) and then ordered food. This included popadoms which they brought with dips we hadn’t ordered. These were a different item on the menu and priced higher. After 20 minutes we gave up waiting for our food and asked for the bill. Sorry guys, we won’t be back. Oh, and by the way, they charged for the dearer popadoms."
