"I went to Archipelago many years ago before it moved to its current location and remember not just the quality of the (very unusual) food but also how much fun the whole experience was. I booked again for a friend's birthday and it was exactly...as fantastic as I remembered. As a bit of fun you're given a password which you give before ordering, and the hand towel is a lovely piece of theatre in itself. The menus are beautifully presented and the decor a true stimulation of curiosity. There are such unusual dishes including crickets, ostrich, kangaroo, all delicious, all looking intriguing and appetising, and because it was a birthday they even prepped a treat with dessert. Our waitress was superb welcoming, knowledgeable and lovely to chat with. I would certainly return and recommend in the much nearer future. Thank you, Archipelago, for a really wonderful afternoon."
