"I have visited this restaurant at least 10 times in the last 2 years, as it is in a quiet opposite close to a climbing center. the restaurant is clean, cozy and the staff is always attentive. there are around 7 or 8 tables. some for larger groups and then some smaller, so it is never too busy and therefore eating is served quite quickly. there is a large selection of feeds from yakisoba, variations of sushi, bento boxes and nude and rice dishes as well as many appetizers. I have always found the portions to be generous and the aromes are also very good. the best part is that the price is extremely reasonable, rough £15 per person she will be good and really full in the rule with a starter and a pornstar. the restaurant itself is not the most atmospheric or elaborate in terms of decor, but it is warm and comfortable with generally good employees. highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant experience."

"Proper authentic Asian food in the heart of Guildford. Not fancy or overpriced, but homely and down to earth. The bibimbap is the best I've had for a while served in a proper hot stone bowl and the sushi and gyoza are excellent as well. One of my favourite places in Guildford to eat. One small thing I'd change and which I always like in Asian owned restaurants is free or endless tea of some kind if you order a meal. I'm also not a fan of ordering via an app you do have the option of ordering from a member of staff though. Part of the eating experience for me is the social aspect and also chatting to the serving staff for recommendations etc. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"The best Asian restaurant I've eaten at in my life, and I'm from London The atmosphere with the candles and lights are incredible The tables are spacious, and the food is absolutely delicious Literally, I ordered noodles and every ingredient was cooked to perfection. The onions were crunchy, the mushrooms soft, the egg perfect and squishy but still textured, and the noodles and the sauce were perfect. "Visited Oryza Sushi on Dec around Service was acceptable although food served was way below expectation. We had our seats at the bar so we could observe how the food was prepared Ordered dinner platter for Miso soup was alright but the sushi was not authentic in taste at all. Rice was too dry and didn't taste of usual sushi rice with vinegar. The ingredients in the sushi was random pieces of fish, cucumber and peppers (really? Peppers in sushi Raw fish didn't look or taste fresh. Gyoza was too tough it was not freshly made. It's all frozen items that you would buy from the Asian Food Supermarket and re-heated up The two ladies that were doing the service that evening seems rather clueless on what’s on the menu or the name of the sushi or how to make them Not very confident on the cleanliness of the service dishes and cutlery. Noticed they hand wash them but the dish cloth used to dry the dishes looked a tad dirty and has been laid around carelessly Payment by card didn’t work. Had to paid in cash in the end."

"I ordered the largest sashimi platter last night AS A TAKEAWAY. 42 pieces. Also a soft shell crab tempura. I was more than disappointed. The tuna was not fresh and it was brown. The texture was so wrong. Not that I tried it but I did pick it up. Also they included 9 ‘cut down the centre prawns’ which were not raw. Everything on a platter of sashimi should be raw! The scallops weren’t sliced they were chunks. Not good. I don’t want to mull over the call to the restaurant or what was said. That isn’t what this review is about. The reason I’m writing this is because I was called by a charming lady this afternoon, who’s name I didn’t get. After identifying herself as being from the restaurant she asked if I was home. I wasn’t. She said she was very very sorry about last night’s delivery, which Uber Eats refunded) The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the prawns and the scallops. She told me they had delivered some new tuna sashimi and vegetable gyoza, they were outside my front door! I was very touched by the gesture. I’m home now and the tuna is beautiful as are the gyoza. SO THANK YOU FOR TURNING AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE into an excellent one. Caring thoughtful customer service. I will return."
