"What an incredible experience! I hadn't dined at The Drovers in several years, but on Friday, I visited with a friend, and without a reservation, we enjoyed some of the best food I've had in a long time. The menu is diverse, and we could have chosen from a wide variety of dishes. We started with crab cakes and tiger prawns accompanied by sweet chili jam. For the main course, I had a rich butternut squash quesadilla and goat cheese risotto, complemented by perfectly cooked fresh tuna and duck egg. For dessert, we indulged in a white chocolate and skyberry Eton mess and a pistachio and olive cake, both of which were absolutely delightful, especially the skyberry sorbet. We also savored a fabulous bottle of Pinot Grigio. The staff was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the bill was surprisingly modest. I highly recommend this restaurant!"
