"The Orchard Room at the Conrad Hotel is a charming spot for afternoon tea. When we arrived, we were unsure of where to go, but a friendly concierge gentleman helped us find our way. However, there was a lack of professionalism from the man in the black suit who seemed too busy to properly seat us, even though there was only one other table having afternoon tea. Eventually, another gentleman in a grey waistcoat took us to our table. We were initially told we could take home any uneaten items, but were later informed otherwise, causing confusion. Despite the language barrier with some staff members and the disappointing service, the afternoon tea itself was excellent. The table display and crockery were outstanding. However, for the price of £65, we expected better service from the beginning and were disappointed by the lack of attention from the manager. While the food was great, we will not be returning due to the overall experience."
