"Myself and my fiancÃe had decided to try this restaurant as a belated celebration meal for valentines and our engagement. I cannot fault the staff as they were polite, efficient, friendly, welcoming and engaging. However I was very disappointed by the food. My fiancÃe chose the meatballs and they were quite clearly microwaved and tough, they were like rubber. The prawns had no taste of garlic whatsoever, and the potato dish was just salt. The portions and servings were tiny and completely unjustified of the price. I had lamb cutlets and mash, and found the lamb to be cooked inconsistentently. However I canât fault the mash.. that was amazing!! We had a reservation for so quite early and there was a table of women that were intoxicated and swearing profoundly. Im a year old woman myself and enjoy an evening with my friends where I can let my hair down, but I felt the loudness and sweating was completely over the top and distracted from the romantic evening my fiancÃe and myself were supposedly having. On top of that there were quite a few families in the restaurant and there was just no need for it. I do feel the staff could have had a quiet word. I was disappointed by the food as I had heard such great reviews prior, maybe it was just an off night but unfortunately having paid for this meal, we wonât be returning again."
